Collector's Item

I'll be the first in line to defend HALCALI, but this remix cd......it's really a collector's item. I wouldn't suggest a casual listener to buy this cd. The remixes aren't all that great. Many of them are too disjointed or unorganized to be really really good. Some are quite enjoyable, but the majority fall flat and are quite forgettable. It's really a shame, because as some of the tracks prove, HALCALI is prime remixing material. I guess it just takes the right touch. |
