Hong Kong singer Candy Lo has demonstrated her potential as an actress in various small-scale productions in the recent years. After Cocktail, she takes up the challenge of not only one but two roles in which she needs to delivers the characters' inner emotions. She plays twin sisters in the new movie Half Twin, and one sister has to kill the other! Model-turned-actor Carl Ng plays the male lead. Unlike his father Ng Yiu Hon who is famous for comedies, Carl Ng first impressed the audience with his performance in Color Blossom, and this time he has another sensual scene with Candy Lo.

Candy Lo plays a rich woman Lok Yan and also her twin sister Lok Ling, a poor woman separated from her sister for twenty years. Ko Fung (Carl Ng), knowing Ling's grievances, successfully persuades Ling to kill her rich sister and take over all her wealth. Yan's boyfriend, played by Eric Kot from Soft Hard Kids, intuitively feels that the woman he goes out with is not the Lok Yan he knows, but he doesn't know what exactly has gone wrong. Meanwhile, Ling, in order to better impersonate Yan, starts to read Yan's diary and letters. Soon she can no longer distant herself from the role she is playing and becomes schizophrenic...

A rich girl Lok Yan (starring by Candy Lo) and her fianc?e Ko Fung (starring by Carl Ng) come to Hong Kong to meet her poor elder twin sister Lok Ling (starring by Candy Lo). The twins haven't seen each other for 20 years.

Ko Fung incites Yan's twin sister Ling, a simple-minded and hot-tempered girl, to kill Yan to obtain her status, wealth and security. As Ling has been unhappy about her fate over the past years, she yields to the temptation. Ling has killed Yan.

To avoid the disclosure of her identity, Ling learns to be her younger sister Yan. She lives in Yan's villa and views Yan's photos, videotapes and diaries.

Yan's boyfriend Ching Kwok Wing (starring by Eric Kot) is a still photographer. He finds 'Yan' is different in her photos. He begins to suspect her, yet he doesn't know Yan has a twin sister.

Ko Fung forces Ling to give him all her wealth by threatening to reveal the murder. Ling lives under great pressure.

In reading Yan's diaries, Ling has gradually become Yan as sometimes she is as kind as Yan but sometimes she is herself, a jealous woman with hatred. Ling feels she losts herself ...She is suffering from schizophrenia. Now, she only has half a soul!
