Best Yet.... Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This album is definitely Ayu's best so far. I could listen to this CD over and over again

What I liked about this CD is that it seemed more organized. For example Ayu had a nice intro song which prepares you for the rest of the album. And had two interludes which separated the songs by similarity

The first three songs are my favorites (cause they're all rock based) Until that day... has such a great opening with the music. Startin' is just amazing all the through and never gets old. 1 Love has great guitar music and of course Ayu's voice and lyrics shine through in all of these songs.

Jewel and Momentum are two beautiful songs. Jewel is a nice piano ballad while Momentum is a more rock ballad.

Born to Be..., Beautiful Fighters, and Blue Bird are the really upbeat songs. Blue Bird is my favorite in this set. It's so upbeat.

The Last two songs, kiss o' kill and secret, I find the hardest to listen to. Not that they're bad, they're very good, but not as catchy as the rest of the album.

Over all, I highly recommend this album, it's worth every penny.

It's worth it !! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
As I type this review, Ayu's album "Secret" is playing on repeat. Even though it's been around 8 months since this album was released, it's still playing and it never gets boring! For Sure.
Ayumi Hamasaki (Or "Ayu" as fans (including me! :3) of the queen of j-pop call her) has been going strong for more than 9 years. She has never let me down in the past two years of me being one of her thousand, maybe even MILLIONS!, of fans worldwide.
"Secret" as I said before, never gets old! And I mean it! Its a breath of fresh air and refreshing as she goes from j-pop to rock, to ballads and then back to more rock and j-pop.

Not Yet- Ayu's newest album starts off with a very interesting song. "Not Yet" has very many special effects added to Ayu's voice to make it more flattering to the album. And I must say that when I heard this, I KNEW this album would be G.R.E.A.T.!

until that Day - Like the previous song, it has added effecets to the voice which is great! :3 This is the first "rock" song on Ayu's album. It nearly blew me away when I first heard it. I could tell that with every song she sang, Ayu was putting her heart into the lyrics and her voice.

Startin' - was my least favourite out of all of the songs on this album. The PV had Ayu trying to be "sexy" like Avex singer, Koda Kumi. In all it was great, but the PV turned me off. >.>;; Although the ending was interesting. XD

1 LOVE - MY FAVOURITE SONG ON THIS ALBUM. Really. It's hardcore. XD This would go right into the rock genre. The OV wasn't great but I still liked it. XD In all, this is a great song and I loved it on the first listen.

It was... - This one had the (miss)understood feeling, and I heard somewhere Ayu wanted this on the (m)u album but I still wonder why she didn't put it on there. Of course, if it was on there it would be over-shadowed by the other songs on the album. :3

LABYRINTH - A interlude. It was composed greatly. :3 not as good as some of her past one's, but still good. (b^-')

JEWEL - A great ballad with a VERY expensive PV, which fit greatly. XD Her voice is very soft at the starting and it makes you feel good and relaxed. A great feeling after her hard rockishy songs previously. :3

momentum - My secnd favourite song on this album. It's lyrics (if you can understand them, like me. XD) are great and without a doubt, she put her heart into them. The PV feature her in a brown "dress-like" coat with little fur on it. She stands next to a light-post in a snow-covered small town. Some of the time she looked like she was going to cry. (and I think she did. *has not seen it in awhile. XD)

taskingst - Another interlude. It starts off soft. Then gets rockishy. Then goes back to soft. Cute.

Born to Be - Not my favourite song on the album, but catch nonetheless. :) it reminded me of B&D, the single realised way before this one.

Beautiful Fighters - A GREAT song with meaningful lyrics. It just makes me want to get up anf fight those hard days of school and do my best! :D It empowers me! :3

BLUE BIRD - A refreshing summer song. Very cute and it'll make you want to go swimming or play outside in the heat of summer. It's just great. *sings* Aoi sora~~~ XD *ahem* excuse me for that. XD

kiss 'o kill - the first song that I 'officialy' listened to when it was leaked onto the interwebz. XD thetitle caught my eyes and when I listened to it, I was well enough to wait for my copy of the album when it was realised. It has guitars and other instuments that I cannot name playing in the background, which adds ont the awesomeness of this album! ^-^

Secret - The title track of this album. I didn't really listen to this one alot since its at the end. But when I do, it sometimes makes me cry. The was Ayu-chan sings it is so soft and cute. It just makes me happy~ <3

I bought this CD+DVD+POSTER edition because it's great. Don't miss out on this edition and buy it quick before it goes Out of Print!!

Another great album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Ayu never seems to fail me! I love all the songs on this album, some more than others, but still, there isn't a song that I hate on here! My favorite track has to be "momentum" just because I love the chorus and music...but aside from that song, "Secret", "until that Day...", "kiss o' kill", "Not Yet", and "JEWEL" are among my other favorites on here! The cover and booklet is beautiful too! (& The poster goes great in my room!!!)

A YU READY?! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Ayumi Hamasaki's 8th full length studio album "Secret" is extremely well produced album. It has received "Album of the Year Award" at the Japan Gold Disc Awards and her title track received an award for "Japanese Song Of The Year" at the RTHK international awards in Hong Kong. The album topped the Oricon Daily and weekly charts and landed on number 2 on the Monthly Chart All the songs are writtened by Ayumi once again. The album has really upbeat songs like "Blue Bird" which became her 15th consecutive number one hit and "Born To Be..." and some slow ballads like "Jewel" the MV cost over 100 Million Yen which is about $1 million USD. The album is a really outstanding album & you don't even need to touch your skip button, if you understand the lyrics you'd know how uplifting and sad the lyrics are. My top three favorites are Momentum which talks about a girl who believes the last miracle of her life was loving her ex-lover, Jewel which talks about her asking her love to come back to her to be her precious jewel again, and blue bird a song thats basically a summer song and its a song praising women.

Ayu's best original album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Ayu really shows her growth as an artist in this album. Mixing hardrock and pop so gracefully, she demonstrates why she is the best artist in Japan. This album, despite all the critism, is...words can't even express. Ayu has been a star all these years and NEVER has she went shallow or used her body to make sells. Quoted from Ayu herself, "I hope truth in music always prevails over anything else. There are no lies in my music. I am me, not gonna change"...and she proves that in this album. This is one of the most amazing and most treasured albums I've ever owned. I'm proud to say I am a true fan of Ayu. There's nothing to be ashamed of.

But pay close attention to her PVs or you'll mistake its meaning. Ayu speaks in metaphors...so you have to really dig deep to understand. Nothing's ever what it seems. Ayu is unpredictable even after so many years. She's who she is and you're gonna love her.
