Love like This Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Yes, it`s cheap. Yes, it`s got a fair bit of broken English in its subs. Yes, it`s on VCD, a format that I fear is on the way out (I am old enough to own a fair bit of movies on VCD and less on Blu-Ray.) but it is THE BEST ITEM I`VE EVER BOUGHT FROM THIS SITE hands down. I love, love, love HYD. Okay, I admit I`ve never read the manga, but it doesn`t stop me from enjoying this show to the fullest. All the actors and actresses are fantastic and you feel their love for the show and for eachother. (I loved the scene on one of the two discs with extras where Inoue Mao got a bunch of roses from her on-screen lover Matsumoto Jun and got so surprised `cuz he`d already finished his scenes and she didn`t think he`d come at all to see her finish...what a perfect ending to the filming of this super - romantic story!) And my god, the story...it`s a wild ride indeed, full of crazy surprises and all kinds of emotions, from fury to hate to black envy to crazy love. I can never get enough of this show and I recommend it to everyone who wants to be challenged and moved and maybe also a little bit changed by this great, great series, yes! with all my heart, always!!!

One of the best dramas ever! I even bought it, and I still have the whole 2 seasons on my laptop xD. I really loved it. And I'm a big fan Hanazawa Rui (played by Oguri Shun). I also loved him in korean version. Ah, this movie is really something, and with english sub, I can understand it all *__*!

One of the Best Dramas Ever! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I bought this a while back, but I forgot to review on it. I remember Hana Yori Dango being the first japanese drama I ever watched and it also became my absolute favorite. I love the chemistry between Matsumoto Jun and Inoue Mao. For a VCD, the quality of the video is pretty good. I was so worried that the subs would be broken english, but it wasn't! There were some parts where I went, "Huh?!" so it was time to use my awesome memorization powers to think back what the fansubs were back when I watched it online. Anyway, I would totally recommend this. I gave it to my friend to watch and it turned out her 16 year-old brother liked it and he's a football player! My other friend borrowed it and in the end her mom enjoyed it. :P

Question about Eng Subs Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm just wondering to those who have purchased this item how the subtitles are. sometimes when you get products from hong kong the subtitles are just cut up english and not actual proper sentences. I'm hoping that this is not the case with this product as I'd like to purchase it. Hopefully the subs are as good as those of the fan subs when it first came out. Also is the picture clarity good too? Thank you soo much for anyone who answers to this post!

Everything looks good and clear. How the video is seems to realistic but I still enjoyed this show. Everything else is really good. I am happy with this product because not many Japanese series are subtitled and I really love this show and it is subtitled...I am happy. THIS SHOW IS A MUST BUY!!!!

I love Hana Yori Dango!! This is one of my favourite Japanese dramas! And I was so happy that I could find it for so cheap!! All the episodes, with subtitles, for only $52!! When the Japanese version without subtitles is $177!!.... I love saving money, while enjoying my favourite show. ;33

The Taiwan 's version is more fast paced and funnier . The music is also a good mix of popular English and Chinese songs. But I also enjoy this Japanese version. It lets us see what the original story is about. I enjoyed the music too, especially the classical music.

Of all the characters in the two series, I like Jerry Yan the best, especially when he had funny hair and obnoxious behavior. Not to say I don't like any other characters. The added character of the boss lady in the shop where the 2 girls work is a brilliant move. I really like her line of the story and how she teaches the girls about men. The parents in the Taiwan version are funnier than the Japanese ones.

I also own a Japanse animated version. It has wonderful classical music and brillant animation. I like it a lot too.

omg.i didn't expect this to be such a good drama. I was actually putting it off for a while. I finally had nothing to do so i started watching it. I was so surprised. At first i didn't want to watch because i saw the Taiwanese version and thought it sucked and dragged too much but this one was so good. It was very quick and funny and romantic. F4 was so so HOT.i just wanted to keep watching them. I loved how they had such a strong bond. That made them even HOTTER!!Even though not a lot of action happened, it was kept very interested. The acting was pretty good. I loved the soundtrack. It was very nice. I just want to watch this drama again and again. this is actually the first Japanese drama I've seen.but it's very very very good. Get this or you'll regret it.

This was so good I can't believe that it was that...well...romantic! It was so sad and good, and I thought it was MUCH better than the taiwanese version called 'Meteor Garden'. They couldn't act at all... Aish...anyway. Matsumoto Jun was a VERY good actor and the main character...Innou Mao (i think) was sooooo likable! I can watch it over and over again! I hope this helps

I LOVE THIS MOVIE...it's funnie and romantic..i really like it..I really liked it how the people ended up being together and how they wouldn't let friendship come between their friendship. and i also liked it how the girl is so tough and how she would have a "war" against F4. she's really though although she has a soft heart.
