Hands Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
After the controversial "Girls ~Selfish" DVD single, Ku returns to the ballads with "Hands," a despondent, broken-hearted lament. Ku expresses the emotions behind this song really well; she truly sounds as if she's on the verge of tears.

The B-side is ballad "Through the Sky," which was used as the closing theme for J-Drama "The Sunday."

Beautiful.. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Wow Hands was just so moving n so touching. It sounded so sad when I heard the music, and then when I saw the music video of it..i was so like blown away from the sadness from seeing the song in motion. Usually when artists r trying to express sadness of some sort, it looks false n all fake, till i saw this work of Koda, it was amazing n so sad, it wasn't fake at all, there was emotions of deep despair n sadness..In a way it was like i was watching my myself really since i can relate to this song itself... overall this song was amazing n now i've decided this to be my theme song, just beautiful...

Hands is a really nice song that blew me away when I first heard it. It's very powerful. I think it's Kumi's best song yet.

Awesome. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Koda Kumi continues to overpower her listeners with powerful emotion, and continuous improved vocal quality. The better part of this package is the DVD by far, which contains one of her best PVs to date, along with the making of it. Even english listeners will be able to relate and comprehend the song partially after seeing Kumi's acting skills prevail in her videos again. "Hands" takes a more gentle and emotional approach following her recent dance singles, and is one of her better ballads, as well as one of the best to be released as a single. The b-side, "Through the Sky" is also another strong ballad with an excellent arrangement. This single is truly more eye and ear candy to all of Kumiko's fans.
