The Ghost gets happy again in Happy Ghost 4, the third sequel to the juggernaut teen comedy franchise from producer/star Raymond Wong Bak Ming. This time out, the Happy Ghost (Raymond Wong Bak Ming) is called in to help his descendant Hong Sum Kwai (also Raymond Wong Bak Ming) with his modern troubles. In addition to a possessed girlfriend (Pauline Yeung), Hong has four troublesome boy students (played by rock group Beyond) who are trying to romance a quartet of complete cuties (played by Happy Ghost veterans Loletta Lee, Fennie Yuen, May Lo, and Charine Chan). When the spirt of an ancient swordsman (Lau Shun) enters the mix, it's a trio of ancient Chinese spirts causing untold issues in the modern world! Can they be stopped, or would that cease any further hilarity? Happy Ghost 4 is even more wacky comedy and spectral silliness, but with more stars, more laughs, and apparently more ghosts.

現代香港，開心鬼之“今世”康森貴（黃百鳴）仍快樂地生活在人間，並已結識了新的女友安妮。安妮的前世正是誤殺余元帥的村姑小尼。安妮今世投胎為人，當然不會知前世所作之事。康任教於安妮母親任校長的學校，班內有四男生：文、武、英、傑（Beyond樂隊），雖然活潑善良，但亦非常鬼靈精怪，且經常在校內媾女，亦與康處處對立。朱秀才因要準備投胎轉世做人，便與康告別，康的超能力也因此消失。另一方面，文、武、英、傑四反斗星為了追求四大名校花：梅、蘭、菊、竹（李麗珍、袁潔瑩、羅美薇、陳加玲）被整蠱至流落荒郊，四子惟有野外露宿。在月黑風高之下，駭然發現余元帥之遺骸。雖然屍骨已化，仍將盔甲帶回宿舍。余吸啜四子之陽氣後始成精，並發現安妮與四子同影之相片，認出安妮（楊寶玲）乃殺自己的轉世後人，遂萌報復之念……

Hong Sum Kwai (Raymond Wong) is enjoying a second life in metropolis Hong Kong. His girlfriend, Annie (Pauline Yeung), is oblivious to the fact that her former incarnation was the village girl who perished the Sheriff to eternal suffering. Hong teaches at the school where Annie's mother serves as the principal. There are four sprightly yet mischievous male students (Beyond) in his charge. Now the four students are hot on the tails of four beauties (Loletta Lee, Fennie Yuen, May Lo, Charine Chan) of the school, but they are duped by the girls instead and left stranded in the wilderness. Meantime Hong's pleasant relationship with Annie is disrupted by her cousin ( Charles Tso) who also takes a fancy to her and is trying to lure her away from him. In his moment of despair Hong's former in carnation - a scholar -appears out of the air and helps him secure his love...

I liked this very nice movie that is made in 1989.
I think this is preety good. I also like the song Beyond sang a little. but i would still prefer part 2 to part 4. waiting for part 5 DVD to be out.

Very nice a memory back to my childhood it wroth of buying it to watch or collect them all in part 1 to 4 but i still waitting for part 5 currently so far it only out very rare on part 5 on has on VHS!...........

Eeyahoo! What a great movie! It would be even greater for those die hard Happy Little Girls Troupe and Beyond fans. Well, I happen to be a fan of one the girls troupe, but the one who I really am a fan of is Fennie. The plot is fast moving, and it keeps the watcher glued till the very end and he will want to watch it once more all over. Fans of the characters of this fabulous movie, it's on stock so what are u waiting for? Go get it before it's runs out!

oh my god! i can't believe it finally out!!! i'm so so so so so so.....excited! i've be searching for this movie for two years now! this is a miricle! when i saw that the status for this item was "in stock", i thought i was dreaming!!! i couldn't believe it! everytime i checked it was always "out of print"! i can't describe how happy i am right now! =)=)=)
i think they're reproducing it b/c beyond is so HOT lately...with their new album, concert etc.
this is going to bring me back to 10 years old, when i first saw the movie! But now it's a brand new situation...since, i fell in love with beyond! especially kakui!!!
i just can't wait until it arrives! all i have to say is that all you beyond fans out there, get it right now!
