Bright Twins member Gillian Chung teams up with Canto super artists Cheng Kent and Wayne Lai to bring "Happy Go Lucky ", an endearing piece of cinema to your family screen!

While Fat Cat has psychological problems, his younger brother Xiang even though mentally sound suffers from frequent spasms. The life of the two unfortunate boys is totally changed by their acquaintance with Bai Xue Xian who has been blind ever since the sudden attack of an eye disease at the age of 12. They are united through their wishful dreams that even though are absolutely different match in their hopes for a happier future. Fat Cat wants to open a restaurant and his brother plans to operate a bookstore, while Xue Xian 's ideal is to regain her sight & to return to the stage. Will they achieve their hearts' desires?

　　Fat Cat, nickname because of his chubby body, is a moderately mentally handicapped person. He works happily and passionately as a delivery boy in a restaurant. Little Cheung is a spastic with normal IQ, working as an office boy. Fairy Snow White, name it after a renowned Chinese opera actress, is a blissful, middle-class daughter. Her bright future suddenly turned vague when she became blind at age twelve. From then on, she is living in the dark, but her childhood memories enable her to live in peace and harmony. Fat Cat, Little Cheung and Snow White become good friends afterwards, sharing their respective dream. They don't think it is feasible except Fat Cat does....

 good movie Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Ah Gill stars as blind girl and befriends two disabled friends. I think she acted pretty good in this movie, some parts where she walked to her room were unbelieveable without her stick. But this movie is a very touching movie and it makes you want to cry, I think everyone should watch this movie.

People say that Gillian needs a lot of more improvement in this movie, which i am not disagreeing, however this movie is kind of old and she is much better at acting now. Though comparing her to Charlene with the movie she did at that time, I think that Gillian did a much better job. Everybody say that Charlene is a good actress because she acted good in her movies, but i thought that she wasn't acting at all, i mean come on look at the movies she play it seems as if she was just portraying herself. Unlike in this movie Gillian had take up to the challenge to play a blind person, which i thought was good enough to be shown in the cinema. Well I am not saying you have to and must buy this movie, i am just saying if you love Gillian and watch her act and see how she improved from then to now than you should buy this movie.

Happy Go Lucky - one of the best films i have seen Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a definate must see film! Even though the storyline may be simple, it sends one of the most meaningful message across to the audience. Do not underestimate this by it's cover, inside is a heart warming and emotional movie which may even change the way you view disabled people and the world itself. Great work from the actors, producers and of course the writer. Gillian, Kent and Wayne did a perfect performance which is partly why the film is so great.

I definately recommend this to anyone in the world!

I was Happy go Lucky until seeing this movie. I really like Gillian but she's not good enough an actress to play a blind girl. She looks around sometimes and isn't convincing as a blind girl.. however, she is really cute. I think EEG should just let her stick to singing... she really can't act and this movie proves it! No improvement whatsoever. The fat guy and the other dude are great actors... watch it for them, but don't watch it for the storyline or Gillian because it'll disappoint you. A movie with good intentions but no depth whatsoever.

I didn't like this movie. The acting was bad. The storyline was trying to promote care for each other, but the way they did it was boring. Gillian rolled her eyes aronud at times when she was supposed to be blind too.
