　　女歌星郭辛麗因相信愛情，為了男朋友徐文龍，甘願退居幕後，放棄事業。後得知自己懷上孩，卻被文龍喝令打掉，更目睹文龍與情人出雙入對。心灰意冷的辛麗忍受世人嘲諷，生下了子橋。子橋因為沒有父親，經常被其他孩子欺負，母子倆在經濟惡劣的情況下，忍辱負重地生活。

　　文龍在一次車禍中重傷，失去了生育能力。傷癒後他得知辛麗沒有打掉孩子，便向辛麗提出取回子橋。辛麗為了能讓孩子有更的將來，便含淚把子橋把子橋送出。子橋因想偷偷回家看母親，但卻伯母責罵，於是爬上慈母崖乞求上天能讓一家和好團聚，辛麗聞訊後，急忙和文龍上崖找孩子，卻不慎滑落山谷……
