AKB48's Hirajima Natsu, Ota Aika, Watanabe Mayu, and Nakagawa Haruka take a break from 48 with their new subgroup Watari Roka Hashiri Tai, fashioned after the 80s idol unit Ushirogami Hikaretai. Sticking with the AKB48 formula, the four schoolgirl idols' first single Hatsukoi Dash is a sweet and bouncy dance track with a fun boogie-woogie rhythm and cute dance choreography. The single comes with two side tracks - Koi no Chewing and Aoi Mirai, which is the opening theme of anime series Blue Dragon.

This edition comes with a DVD containing "Special Movie: The Taste of First Love is like the Taste of Cake".
