The seventh series in the popular Pretty Cure series, HeartCatch PreCure is taking its gang to the silver screen for the first time! Longtime Pretty Cure staff Matsumoto Rie becomes the first female director to take the reins as director for the series' 9th film. Taking place between the 39th and the 40th episodes of the animated series, HeartCatch sees protagonist Hanasaki Tsubomi (better known as Cure Blossom) joined by three new characters: the mysterious Oliver, villain Baron Salamander, and Cure Angie.

This time, Tsubomi becomes a fashion model in Paris for a fashion show held by Erika's mother. However, the vacation is ruined when the legendary Wolfman appears. With the help of Oliver, Tsubomi and her friends discover the evil plans of Baron Salamander.
