Not My Favourite Song
Not My Favourite Song

Heaven is an okay song and Ayu looks amazing in the music video. The new version of Alterna is also just okay. I don´t know why but sometimes is missing. I still think it´s worth buying just because it´s Ayu. But I know she can much better. The problem with Heaven is that the music is boring and even if Ayu sings very well in it, the song just never takes off. |

I love it!
I love it!
| This single is full of calm ballady songs. "Heaven" is just an amazing ballad, one of Ayu's best. The lyrics are so moving and the PV is very awesome. Then "Will" is even better, I think. Its a traditional Japanese sounding song, with lovely lyrics and great vocals, plus its co-composed by Ayu herself! Then the alterna orchestra version is very good, nothing spectacular but it's still great nonetheless. "Heaven Piano Version" is just awesome. You get to really hear Ayu's awesome vocals and the piano makes the whole song sound more natural. |

HEAVEN, the song itself, is a good song but is not the best track on the cd. In fact, the piano version surpasses it by far. HEAVEN is a ballad by Ayumi Hamasaki; it's very simplified at the beginning, but suddenly bursts into something beautiful a little later in the track. Will, on the other hand, is a great track, and it's tune is one of my favorites. Then, we have alterna (orchestra version), which, though not as good as it's original version, is still very interesting to listen to, and provides the very sweeping feeling of this cd. HEAVEN's piano version is wonderful; it's very moving and elegant. The last two tracks are just instrumental tracks which is basically featured on almost every single in Japan. Overall, it's a great cd, and something different from STEP you/is this LOVE? and fairyland. I hope she continues to improve over the years. I just wish HEAVEN, the song itself, had been longer instead of feeling like it ended suddenly. |

One of the best ballad song released ever...
One of the best ballad song released ever...

Eventually, Avex Trax is able to produce such a nice and soothing ballad for Ayu after bombardizing fans with up-beat and rockish songs like STEP YOU, is this LOVE?, Fairyland and Alterna. It's such a relief for me to know that Ayu has not lost her magical touch on ballad recalling that she's incredibly famous for singing mind-blowing ballads like SEASONS, RAINBOW, LOVE ~Destiny~, Voyage, and so on. The more you listen to HEAVEN, the more you're craving for it |

| before the release or leaks about this single i had no idea what kind of song to look forward to. upon listening to the single for the first time, i was glad to hear that she went for a slower tempo that built up. the two main songs [HEAVEN] and [Will] definatley have a more asian feel to them. Even though [HEAVEN] is the theme song for the movie "SHINOBI", [Will] fits it just as well (especially when watching the CM that uses this song, where Ayu depicts a geisha and even speaks the dialect). [HEAVEN] is definatley not your typical 'slow' ayu song, the structure and instruments used do the song much justice w/ the main chorus more than two minutes into the song. Definatley one of her best singles and shouldn`t be missed. |

Ayu Fan
| What more could an Ayu-fan ask for? Remixes and two ten-star songs! HEAVEN is a beautiful and sad ballad that will catch your heart. WILL is a mysterious song that I believe is unique to Ayu's usual style. I am really looking forward to the alterna orchestral version:) This single is another step up from fairyland (which was excellent as well)! |

Ayu's Best Single since "&"
Ayu's Best Single since "&"
| This is truly Ayumi Hamasaki's best single since 2003's "&", which featured 3 a-sides and one b-side. 1st of all, the covers for both versions are simple, yet stunning, Just like the song "HEAVEN". The song progresses in a different way which sets itself apart from other Ayumi ballads. The verses come, then a bridge, and the song ends with the chorus. The song is beautiful and its emotionally expressed through Ayu's amazing vocals. The simple yet touching PV also adds to the song. The 2nd track on the single is WILL, a traditional sounding song that is reminiscent of Ayumi's "A Song for XX" album, minus the squeaky vocals. In fact, Ayu's vocals are superb, and smooth and amtch the song very well. You will NOT want to miss this single. It's simple, and beautiful. |

Ayumi's 37th single has got to be one of her best as far as her usual ballads go. "HEAVEN" is way better than "forgiveness" and gives you a chill down your spine with her emotional vocals and heartfelt words. This is song if more of a power ballad than "No Way to Say" if you ask me. "WILL" is really different. It's got an old-school japanese music feel but with a little new century kind of flare. I'm not really shure whether of not I can call this a ballad or just a regular song...either way it's great. All I know is, I can't wait to finally hear alterna's acoustic orchestra version! If you normally love Ayu's ballads, BUY THIS SINGLE today! |
