Shipment Unit: 4 (At least that's what I've got.) - one book - one DVD - two audio CDs The CDs contain the same tracks as the DVD: 8+8 tracks, one for each lesson (1 intro + 15 lessons). I guess it's like a backup that you can play on computer (the DVD and the CDs) and on CD players (the CDs). |

The book it's very well structured and helpful for non speaking korean people. All these people, who worked in this project did wonderful job. I'm happy that Lee Joon Gi is part of this because i'm his fan and i was happy to find his photos and autograph inside. I give 10 to Yesasia too, very professional team, for fast, safe delivery. I ordered this product twice and delivery was perfect, irreproachable. Many thanks for your help. |

A MUST HAVE for beginners!
A MUST HAVE for beginners!

With no doubt, one of the best learning books around. As said, it's a must have for beginners and intermediates, easy-to-learn and extremely helpful. As leafing through the pages, the thing that captivates the most is the fact that all pages are colorful and intriguing; At first, I wanted to learn one lesson per day. As I started, I couldn't leave it from my hands! Without even knowing when time passed, I took three to five lessons per day. Finished it in 5 days exactly, fully understood and willing to go again through it to strengthen what I've already learned. Now I'm waiting eagerly for Vol. 2 !! Good luck to everyone learning Korean with this book! ^_^ |

When I first received this book, the thing that caught my eyes was how colorful each pages are as I skimmed thru. Trust me, it's not a book to get bored with, with all 297 pages in color. The introductions were very detailed and precise. There's even a section on how the mouth should be when pronouncing certain tones. Along with the DVD, it's very very helpful. The lessons proceeds very fun and light. Nothing too much or too little. Just nice to grasp the beginners to intermediate level of Korean. The DVD is a given plus as the recording are very nice and clear. Have Lee Jun Ki as part of the book is a huge bonus. The book can be part of a collectibles as Lee Jun Ki has signed on the book. Also at the end of every chapter, there's a section of Lee Jun Ki introducing Seoul. Interesting and captivating. If the book has a book 2, it's a must-have! All in all, the book has no flaws. The parts where they explained the Korean grammars usage are very in-depth. The writers make sure the grammar are split into parts so that learners will not get confused. Conclusion, I personally give it 9 out 10. Can't say it's a 10 out of 10 as there are some English typo. But nothing serious. The core content of the book is very wide and also includes alot of additional tidbits about the Korean language here and there. Makes learning fun and interesting. I say go for it and get it! |
