In 1978, an unprecedented late-night adult talk show on CTV wowed Hong Kong audiences with its boundary-breaking nightlife topics, resulting in some unexpectedly high ratings. The controversial program was soon banned due to enormous social pressure, but it inspired two motion pictures. The show hosts Louis Lo Yuen, Yik Ka, and Angel Chan Wai Ying starred in the same-titled movie Hello, Late Homecomers for Golden Harvest, while Chan also appeared in Shaw Brothers' Hello Sexy Late Homecomers. The Golden Harvest production is an anthology movie comprising three erotic comedy stories made by a trio of writer-directors, namely Lau Tin Chi, Louis Sit Chi Hung, and John Woo before he became known internationally as the gunplay movie master.

So Lo starts his designs on beauteous Lam. His love letters get him nowhere, he then arranges a chance rescue on the beach and the girl says hello. Lo invites her to a hotel room. She agrees but also for $15,000. Lo pays to save face......
《Trilogy III - Boomerang》- Henpecked Fargo wants to murder his wife in order to marry his secretary. A professional killer is hired as part of an elaborate scheme. The wife is lured away from home for him to set up the trap. But the secretary arrives first. She has to be hidden in the closet when the wife to kill her. The trap does not work. Fargo has to chase his wife to kill her. The trap then works and catches Fargo. The killer arrives and is killed by the wife......
