March 11, 2003 Ayumi is so overatedShe keeps releasing the same songs over and over again ripping off her fans. I think the only thing she is so famous is that her record company seems to inject a lot of money into her promotion and mtv to make her look so glamorous.(although i dont find her attractuve at all!).

I liked her since 1997 when she was still in D&D. This music video dvd is superb. She looks so good in all the videos with the songs to match it.
But I think she is quite unlucky not to become famous considering what she had done. She was the singer for the world cup 1998 song which was produced by Testuya Komuro (TK was also the producer of globe, namie amuro, trf, tomomo khala,etc....) and collaborated with Jean Michel Jarre (probably the world best know French musician). Unfortunatly all her singles released after 1998 didn't reach into the top 20 which was a shame becos i found her music is by far one of the best and she also has an excellent vocal. I think the best position she achieved since she left D&D was her album which has reached 20th place in the album chart.
She is not doing much lately though, hope she is ok!!
Released a mini album few days ago which was only released in Tower Records in shibuya.......
