Extreme Crisis

June 19, 2001 No less than Hollywood.....This is an action packed movie which does not pale in comparison vis-a-vis any Hollywood Production. There are plenty of breath-taking explosion takes that stretch both stage production and stunt arrangment to their limits. A must see for all action features lovers. The DVD disk also contains special features such as "The Making of Extreme Crisis", "Star Interviews" as well as "NG Footages", which give an added value to the product.

June 15, 2001 The Glass Bottle (Gorgeous)
Do not expect this one to be a normal Jackie Chan action movie. It does, however, carry a fairy tale like beginning and a happy ending. The casts are great. The action part, although not as intense as the other moives Jackie starred in, is fully complimented and balanced by the playful and romantic scenes with the beautiful lead actress, Shu Qi (Hsu Chi). Gorgeous, indeed! The movie carries a very health message: If one desires to win, one needs to win fair and square. No back stabbing, or dirty tricks are allowed. Overall, it is a movie worth watching and keeping.

City Of Glass
June 8, 2001 A love affair that is not forbidden...This is one of the best movies I have come across. A great plot, wonderful actors, and a very good story line. The play started out with two lovers dying in a car crash on New Year's Eve in a foreign land. As their respective children went to make arrangements for their funerals, and met for the first time, the hidden story of the two lovers began to unfold. This is one of a very few movies that you can keep watching over and over again .....

Love Au Zen

May 23, 2001 The Beauty of Zen BuddhismGreat Movie! Many of our daily human desires, sufferings and conflicts were addressed and then resolved in this movie in a comedy like, yet deeply profound manner. The buddhist master was asked many challenging questions in various situations to which he answered with calmness, poise, and wits. I also want to compliment all major role players in the movie, especially Flora Chan, for their great acting skills and ability. I give this movie a 10+. A must see for everyone who likes to look at life, love and chances from a different perspective.

Buddha's Palm (Boxset)
May 8, 2001 Ru Lai Shen ZhangI have been waiting for this release for so many years and my wish finally came true! Thanks to those who possess the foresight to reproduce it on VCD. This is a classic and timeless piece of work. I must have watched it on TV at least 7 to 8 times while I was much younger. Again I would have to agree that the last time I watched it was some 20 odd years ago. Boy! It does bring back many good childhood memories!
