again violent
Daniel Wu did a string of violent movies. I watched them 'cause people were raving about him all the time. All he did was either violent movies or gay themed movies. Hit Team is another maximized violent movie. To the extreme that ended up throwing up at the end. |

Uhhhhhh... Hmmmmm...
Acting? There was not acting in this movie. New talent all crap. Old talent... Well, no talent to begin with. Action was decent, but I just rather watch an hour of COPS on tv. The plot has been played a thousand times. What? Special talent? I didn't see anyting tactical from any of them. I plan to sell this movie on ebay. |

One of the SDU films around
Alex To & Daniel Wu, make the film come alive, they are perfectly matched. I wont give away the story line however if you liked heat then you will like this film. It has a perfect script, and the action scenes are captured beautifully (lots of explosions and gun battles). If you like action film then this is one of the best films i have seen in a long time. I also recommend buying the DVD version, you will have a choice of audio formats which are: DTS or DOLBY DIGITAL. The DVD comes with lots of extras, I hope this was helpful. |

Conflicted
This is a really good film, one of those sleeper hits, it doesn't sound like a good movie but when you watch it.... The plot is ok but what really brings out the film are the characters and how they relate to each other. You will empathise with Daniel's conflict and his problems within his own department and life. You will sympathise with Alex's quest for his friend's recovery. Credit to all the supporting actors, they create good structure for the main charactersto begetting on with their stuff. The action is really gritty and real, the gun fights are fantastically real. The ending is cool - where not everything is a warm fuzzy happy ending. |

Toy Guns
Good script - there's a nice twist where the cops become the bad guys upon realising that it doesn't pay to be good. How true! Solid acting from the cast as well except for Daniel Wu. He needs to polish his acting skills. Wu's gun fights don't look realistic...it's like he's holding a TOY GUN. That was real funny! |
