Internationally-acclaimed filmmaker Stanley Kwan wrings a rare dramatic performance from Hong Kong sex goddess Chingmy Yau in Hold You Tight, a moving character drama that explores the depths of male sexuality. Jie (Ko Yuen Lin) is a Taiwanese immigrant to Hong Kong, who finds an attraction to awkward newlywed Wai (Sunny Chan). Jie is unable to become closer to Wai, but instead enters into a torrid affair with Wai's new bride Moon (Chingmy Yau). Sadly, Moon is not long for the world, and her departure leaves Wai shattered. He enters into a friendship with an openly gay real estate salesman (Eric Tsang), who also harbors feelings for Wai. Meanwhile, Jie returns to Taiwan, and meets Rosa (also Chingmy Yau), who helps him reconcile his unreturned feelings for Wai. Stanley Kwan wrings genuine, unflinchingly open performances from his excellent cast, who were met with widespread critical acclaim for their brave, daring work. Hold You Tight is another remarkable, uncommon, and emotional work from Stanley Kwan.

　　...如水的記憶偉在剛出糧的日子喝了五瓶啤酒後浮在陽光燦爛的海面。模糊間月紋總覺得她的婚姻生活出了點狀況。而生命中有著那麼事情是月紋所不能夠明白的。小哲走進他倆二人之間，更令問題變得複雜，唐、小哲在迷糊間陷入了兩性間的抉擇。

　　Yuet Man and Rosa were two ladies in twin look but different fate. Wai was addicted in computer programming and more or less neglected about his wife Yuet Man, causing a love-gap and was penetrated by Siu Git who was a man swimming trainer. Yuet Man was died in the plane accident and making Wai so regreted and missing her very much. Siu Git met Rosa in Taipei reminded him a lot about Yuet Man, but the love story was not in a happy ending.
