Lee Min Woo is the latest Shinhwa member to join the ranks of the acting world. In his debut film, Holy Daddy, Lee Min Woo develops an unlikely father-son relationship with singer/actor/comedian Ha Dong Hoon, better known as Haha. Kwon Sung Guk, who previously assisted on some interesting comedies like Jakarta and The Romantic President, directs this oddball comedy about family, friendship, and redemption. The film also stars Kim Sang Joong (Anarchists) and Im Ha Ryong (Welcome To Dongmakgol and Barefoot Ki Bong).

When gangster Seok Jo (Kim Sang Joong) dies in prison, so too does his hope to be a good father. Or does it? Touched by an angel, Seok Jo is given a second chance to reconcile his past misdeeds - by reincarnating into the body of his son's friend Dong Hoon (Ha Dong Hoon)! Life isn't easy for a 40-year-old man in an 18-year-old body, but through this strange out-of-body experience, Seok Jo learns more about his son Won Tak (Lee Min Woo) than he ever could when alive.

I didn't know whether I should have bought this movie or not but in the end i went ahead and bought it.
This was a pretty good movie with many hilarious moments =)
However, i found some areas of the film tedious and since the special features disc had no subtitles i could not understand it at all...if you cannot understand Korean the special features disc will be rather boring as there are a lot of interviews...i found only the music video interesting in the entire 105 mins of this disc included in the Limited Edition. I recommend you buy the VCD version if you cannot understand Korean.
Also, although I found the movie above average with a great cast of characters, i would only watch this movie once.

Great Drama! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
At first, I didn't know for sure if I should get this, but I got it anyway. The drama is so funny and sad at teh same time. It was very enjoyable. It's to bad that the second disc doesn't have any subtitles. I wish it did.

And the best part? In the second disc, there's a part where it shows other stars going to see the movie and i saw lots of people there. Minwoo, of course, was there and with the rest of Shinhwa too!! Way to go!! I hope they make more dramas/movies in the future and with English subtitles too!!

This movie would have to be one of the best korean movies i have ever seen ^.^

I totally did not know the story and all too well but being a fan of Minwoo i went ahead and bought a copy and damn is minwoo awesome at acting ^.^

This movie will make u laught and cry! and its got a really sweet story soo i say its a must buy for korean movie fanatics or any ShinHwa fan <3

i just finished watching this movie and i must say, i didnt know it was minwoo's first movie. not bad for his first time. even though the plot is cliche, and expected what will happen. it was very moving, sad yet some funny parts in it. it started sad in the beginning and ended sad. overall i recommend it

man...this is more than my expectation. All the actors are very good...or excellent. They can make you laugh then make you cried. The storyline is interesting itselfe. I love HAHA and Kim Sang Jong's characters, they are very well expressed. I love how it focused on the love of fatherhood..well done all of them. This is a MUST WATCH and MUST HAVE!!!
