The folk rock duo Yuzu ("Pomelo") consisting of Kitagawa Yujin + Iwasawa Koji started its career as a street artist act in Yokohama 8 years ago. In October 1997 they released their premier mini LP "Pomelo's Element". Yuzu's 2nd major album Yuzu En ("Pomelo Park") led to solid sales of 1.8 million copies. In 2001 the band's top J-pop status was further underlined by its brilliant Tokyo performance!
To celebrate Yuzu's 8th anniversary, the duo now releases not 1 but 2 compilation albums called Home and Going, respectively. The covers for the 2 LPs were drawn by famous Japanese artist Murakami Takashi and on top of that their exclusive 36-page lyrics booklet was provided by Kawahara Hikaru, the founder of the renowned design company TLGF. Home features the early works of Yuzu from 1997 to 2000 including hits like their premier 1998 single "Summer Colors", "Childhood Years" as well as "Rain & Tears" among overall 15 memorable songs!
