Home in the Arctic Village

Bobby Chen planned to wander to every faraway frontier of Mainland China. After Spring of Lijiang in 2007, he set forth to the northeastern corner of China, and the journey culminated in his latest solo album Home in the Arctic Village. Writing his naked feelings into the songs after returning to Taiwan, the veteran rocker not only describes his experiences in the bitter cold of the northeast, but also sublimates his tremendous loss at the passing of his mother into music inspirations. The album features the title track "Home in the Arctic Village" featuring Yisa Yu, Bobby's collaboration with iconic Mainland musician Zuoxiao Zuzhou called "The Gun of Love", and his duet with Renee Liu on a song he wrote for her called "I Used to Love a Boy".
