ATV's popular political parody program Hong Kong Gossip sublimates the frustration and anger in the society into laughter! Modeled after the CTiTV satirical show Quan Min Zhui Da Dang from Taiwan, the Hong Kong version makes fun of current affairs and the latest hot topics, both locally and internationally. The cast, including veteran comedian Lo Hoi Pang, Lam Chiu Wing, Lau Nam Kwong, Lau Shek Yin, Keung Ho Man, Eric Cheng, and Chun Kai Wai, dons makeup to become spoof versions of all sorts of personalities, from real-life celebrities, politicians, and showbiz headline-makers, to various fictitious characters. Backed by strong word-of-mouth, Hong Kong Gossip was turned from a weekly rendezvous into a daily engagement, and even drafted in as ATV's counter-programming to TVB's popular dramas.
