Backed by singer Jeff Chang, classic Taiwan stage play Hua Ji Wei Le gets to rerun in September 2011 after 12 years. Based on the Broadway hit Steel Magnolias, director Kuo Heng Chi's Hua Ji Wei Le is about the heartfelt relationships between six women in a military dependents village in the 1970s. Jeff not only financed the theatrical troupe behind it to bring the popular play back, but also lent his voice to the original soundtrack. The OST album contains the new music score composed by renowned musician Chen Chien Chi, as well as two songs sung by the acclaimed pop star - his reinterpretation of the titular theme song originally sung by Renee Liu, and the new song "Company" in two different versions.
