do you know Hwang Jin Yi ?

then you must have a person who knows korea well.

She is one of the most famouse woman in korean history.

the peculiar thing is she wasn't a noble, roral family, she was just a simple woman who talented with a dance, poetry and a literature.

even though you don't know anyting about korea.

you can enjoy this film so much.

it's worth buying.

sallute to Ha Ji Won. She play Hwang Jin Yi role very excellent.She dance,play music,and teach poetry for this project.I felt Hwang Jin Yi emotion and gotted it.

cinematography was beautiful...
actors/actresses' ability to assume his/her role and move not only the nation within the film, but audiences as well. this is a film that is a able to comprehend and apprehend Hwang Jin Yi on screen.

Absolutely adore Jang Geun Seuk who potrays Jin Yi first love. I cry buckets over his and Jin Yi forbidden love that ends tragically with his death. I thought Japanese Drama's One Litre of Tears would be the most drama I shed tears, but I cry hardest wathcing this drama especially when the cart carying his body refuse to budge infront of Gyobang until Jin Yi comes out and ask him to go.

Watching this makes me wonder 'do sincerity alone can move the world/heaven'. Can the conviction of only one mere man can change hundreds years traditions...

I havent finish watching this series, only up to the 10th episode. I cant wait to continue tonight and watch Jin Yi unleash her anger and revenge to those noblemen and her teacher.

FULL OF HYPE! Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
Off all the series of HAJIWOON that i have seen, this is the worst. too bad for her. Production design is the only alluring in this series. its not exciting like all her other work-- DAMO or BALI. It seems like there is a hang-over of jangeum in this tale . just imagine jewel in the palace gone bad. Story is absurd.
