Hyde, what can I say? I just love him, lol! I've been waiting to watch the mv of The Cape of Storms, my addiction ever since I bought the Roentgen album. The mv of The Cape of Storms is not new. I am very surprised why it wasn't released then. It has a British feel as with all the other mvs in that album. As for the CD here which has a lot of hard rocks and a few of the tracks from Roentgen, I like the variation of the tracks, Evergreen and Unexpected, both from the Roentgen CD. Unexpected (DIST.) is the real rock version of the original track. The extras in the DVD are the 15 or 30 seconds durations of commercials mostly from his singles and Roentgen. What a teaser! I wish the commercials would have run as full length mvs. Get this package if you like Hyde, just for the mvs. For Hyde's CD, I think the Japanese version of Roentgen is his best, base on my personal preference. I like his rock ballads more than the pure rocks because he sings with his soul and the musics are more moving and subtle, and deep with feelings and emotions. It is impressionistic. I bought his latest Vamps CD & DVD package which has a slightly British feel and Vamps Alive Concert DVD which looks almost underground lately, and they add to his different dimensions by his resourcefulness. He is real rocker at heart! He can be sophisticated, soulful, fun, sexy, underground and anything he wants to. I just love him no matter what because above all, he is absolutely a dynamite singer, lol! His Ophelia from the Awake album is absolutely wonderful and I've been listening to it over a hundred times since I got it last week! I'm completing my collection of Hyde's CD by getting the Smile by L'Arc~en~Ciel. |
