Good, but could be somewhat better... Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Ayumi's produced better albums than this one. So far "I am" is all right, but really, I encourage fans to buy another album-like "Memorial Address" or her single "STEP you/is this LOVE". In my opinion, the best tracks were Connected, UNITE, evolution, and M. Overall, this cd leaves you feeling like it's not a complete cd. Keep trying Ayu! In the meantime, I still remain an Ayu fan.

Great Album.. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
So Far, this my favorite album from Ayumi and no matter how many times I listen to this..It never stops entertaining me.. Half Of the songs here are Gr8 Pop-Rock songs from "I am" to "M" and then her soothing ballads come in at the end of the album "Dearest " to "Endless Sorrow"..."Flower Garden" is such a great final song that will keep you jumping till the end of the song!! A MUST BUY album if youre an Ayu Fan OR NOT!! you'll totally love her in this album!!Great Lyrics, Great Vocals and Great Beats from Asia's Finest..Ayumi!!!...

the best Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
this album is just perfect. even with all seven (main albums) of her work out this tops them all. you can go through this ablum several times and not have to skip one track. the tracks very in style; her vioce with the rhythms and beats is just beautiful. also, a perk is some great shots of her in the inserts (she's so pretty). if you're planning to buy her albums, i suggest you buy them in this order: i am..., loveppears, my story, memorial address, rainbow, duty, a song for xx. also, don't forget to check out her remixes and orchestra collections. her singles also have some awsome remixes.

Awsome Ayu! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This album is AWSOME! A must for the rock fans, and has ver good lyrics, along with the over all music of the album! And for the Inuyasha fans, this also has Dearest(my favorite song out of all songs in the world)on it, which is the third ending song for Inuyasha. this song has a beutiful melody too it, and I highly suggest NEVER EVER, M, no more words, Dearest and still alone.

Beautiful Album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Ayumi has made a beautiful album here, in I Am... starting with the opening of the first song and continuing to the very end. My favorite songs here are A Song is Born, M, Connected, and Endless Sorrow, and, of course, Dearest and No More Words. Every song in the album comes together to make a well balanced mix of music, perfect for any JPop collection.

Really good! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I got this cd as a gift.I liked it because I had already heard a couple of her songs like July 1st and UNITE! and she is pretty popular in Nihon. I kept listening to it after I got it so, I decided to buy LOVEppears. My favorite song on here is the hidden song, Flower Garden. I think its pretty clever to hide a song on here. I thought it was going to be a sort of slow song based on the title of it, but really its an upbeat fast jrock-ish yet jpop-ish song.I had no idea that Dearest was the ending theme of Inuyasha until my brother watched it one day.I was like... "hey.. this sounds familliar". So for people that are wondering what she sounds like, thats where you find out.

This is a pretty good album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I really like Ayu a lot. I never had a favorite music artist until i got into her music. I bought this album because of its cover. The CD booklet is worth owning if you're an Ayu fan. I've heard most of the songs on this album as trance remixes at first. These are really good songs. It's good to play it as background music when you're studying or hanging out in your room. I'f you're sleepy...don't drive and listen to this album. Some of the music is pretty slow and mellow.

Pretty good......but not Ayu's best Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I'm a very big ayu fan but I must say I was dissapointed by this album...Once I got this album there wasn't much of a suprise to the songs on this album because many of the songs on this cd had already been released as singles for a long while. Plus, a few of her songs on this cd sound too much alike. Such as evolution and UNITE! (Whoever said that UNITE! and Naturally are very alike and not worth a listen is very wrong.) I like UNITE! a lot better but evolution sounds like a bad attempt at trying to make a cool rock song. My favorite songs on this cd are Connected, Naturally, Dearest and a few others. Connected has this cool techno-like beat, sort of like a reminder from her second album, LOVEppears. Naturally has a very cool beat to it and Dearest is so beautiful but I have to admit that her voice sounds a little strained in some parts of the song. Poor Ayu! Anyways, Daybreak has its good parts when the chorus comes in but most of the song is kind of boring. A Song is Born is a pretty song but I prefer the version with Keiko instead because is sounds more interesting. No more words is a very beautiful and strong ballad. Just listening to this song reminds me of the anime Inuyasha, probably because this song is the movie theme to the first Inuyasha movie! I prefer the original version to Endless Sorrow than the more cheerful version that's on this cd. I know that might sound strange but even though the first version is sadder it still sounds better to me. Still alone is a good techno-like ballad but like in dearest you can tell her voice sounds a little strained. So overall, I think this album was pretty good but not the best of Ayu. The album doesn't seem to have a very distinct quality to each of it's songs like in Ayu's past albums. Some say ayu's voice is getting better...well, maybe in her slower songs her voice is better but it seems like she can't hit those high notes with ease like she use to do back in her first and second album. But her song writing seems to be always good and the songs she composes do have a good musicality to it.
