Yen-j is a music genius who sings, writes, composes, produces, and arranges songs besides playing a variety of musical instruments. He earned himself a record deal after impressing a Taiwan record company with his demo tape, and was soon given the opportunity to shine with his scores for popular idol dramas like My Queen and Autumn's Concerto. Soon after his debut album Thanks Your Greatness, the 22-year-old music prodigy held his first major concert on July 18, 2010 at the NTU Sports Center. Acting as his own concert producer, Yen-j performed songs out of his growing repertoire, including his breakout hit "Love is Curry" and "Trapped in Taipei". He also covered Stevie Wonder's Sir Duke, Leehom Wang's "My Love is You", and Fish Leong's "No If" (the latter written by Yen-j), and played cool jazz versions for classic Mandarin oldies Ye Lai Xiang and Bu Liao Qing. Finally, he treated the audience to a sneak peak of his as-yet-unreleased next single "Pessimistic, Optimistic". A total of 20 tracks from the concert can be found on this must-own Live DVD!
