This time, the single is the biggest collaboration of Kawashima's career yet, with her flying to Los Angeles to record the song with legendary pianist Joe Sample. In addition to the collaboration, the ballad's lyrics are based on the story of a friend, making this an especially personal song for Kawashima as well. The single also comes with the B-side track Tokenai Maho.
