Jah know this? Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This song is amazing. The mix of pop/rap and japanese and english is mixed with eprfection. The english version to this song owns, i think they could make it overseas. theres alot of american language used but they grew up int he US so what do you except. The remix of this single is also good, Wall 5 lends their talent to Heartsdales - but not being better than the original or the english version.

typical quality, but unoriginal Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
'I See You' stays true to the typical Heartsdales style and flair of their unique straightforward rapping, together with a snappy, funky beat in the background. This song has a particularly upbeat pace, which demonstrates the girls' developed rapping ability. The refrain flows well and is seamlessly integrated into the rest of the song... while there is nothing that really distinguishes this release from any other Heartsdales song, its level of quality is consistent, and coming from Heartsdales, that's always a good thing. However, the thing about this song that I've seen in some other recent releases (such as m-flo loves BoA - The Love Bug) is the usage of lyrics and beats from American rap songs. While some of these borrowed lyrics stay true to their roots and are used in appropriate places, I feel that 'I See You' sort of butchers the idea by taking it too far. Repeated several times throughout the song, something very similar to "Biggie Biggie Biggie, can't you see...sometimes your words just hypnotize me..." - from 'Hypnotize' by Notorious BIG...not only does it sound out of place, the way it is modified in 'I See You' just sounds strange to me. There is also a place in the song where "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" is used, from 'Respect' by Aretha Franklin. While it does show that Heartsdales know their hip hop history, its poor execution just makes it seem that there is a lack of originality, choosing to infringe upon their predecessors. One could say that this is almost a regression in development of hip hop - I just feel like the song could have been much better had they come up with their own original lyrics. Other than that, a solid release - Heartsdales fans should check it out.
