Quite Impressed

I found this album to be better than her ID 1 album. The songs are great and very catchy! The remixes are not okay... though it sounds like people just added a bunch of weird noises to make it sound different. But the album makes up for it! I love #2, #3, #5, #7, #8, #10, #13 and #14. |

Aikawa Nanase - ID2
|
I bought the Limited Edition of this latest Aikawa Nanase's Hits album "ID2". This limited edition comes with a 3 tracks remix cd. Unfortunately, none of the remixed songs is my cup of tea. For the album, it's totally a nice greatest hits album, it includes tv advertisement songs, tv animated cartoon theme song. In addition, it is more than just a single collection volume 2. It also has other songs that have not been released as singles before. For example, track.11, "Sakura Blooms", it shows that Aikawa Nanase really does nice vocal performance. The last track (track 14). "Roppongi Shinjuh", it is a 20-years-old song, it shows Aikawa Nanase could do a nice cover! Also, in this album, you could see Aikawa Nanase has been improving her skills of composing lyrics. ^_^ my fave songs of this albums: 03: World Is In My Hand 09: Seven Seas 11: ~dandelion~ 14: Roppongi Shinjuh |
