I will buy this!
| I have yet to buy this album, but I did get a chance to hear the first track "If I Believe". The song is so pretty, just as beautiful as she is. The melodies and her voice makes you so happy that you could forget all the troubles and peak at the magnificent surroundings around you. This is how it feel with the song "If I Believe". Everything is so serene with graceful imagery. Another track that I listen to is the last track "Tonight, I Feel Close To You". This song left me with an uncontrolable urge to cry. Her charming and calm vocals in this song is so melodic that it will give you a feeling that makes you want to cry. It reminds me so much, I remiscize... |

Very nice! Good work!
| I've bought this album with high hopes and i'm not dissapointed at all! I love all of the 11 tracks! But it would be better if Mai did not put her 2 b-sides songs. Because i wanted something new and fresh form her. But anyway good job MAI!!! I'm looking forward for her next album and single! |

Great Album!
|
This new album from Mai-K. is great and I think it's her best album. I love the Songs "If I Believe", "Time after time ~ Hana mau machi de", "Kaze no la la la", "Kiss" and "Make my day". The English-Song "Tonight, I feel close to you" with the taiwanese Singer Sun, Yan-Zi is great, too. I Love it! A must for JPop and Mai-K. - Fans!!! |

Mai Kuraki - My best!!
| Mai's 4th album is excellent!!! I really love the Detective Conan opening song, 'Kaze no la la la' and also the the movie song 'Time after Time'. Apart from the chorus part I think 'Time after Time' is quite similar to Final Fantasy 10's theme song. I am a fan of Mai, but im not always up to date with her songs, the first time i heard 'Kiss' and 'Make My Day' was on her official website, and I thought it was really coooool!!! I was deciding wether to buy the singles or not, but then the album came out, but still i got the 'Kaze no la la la' single, cuz its just a great song to listen too!! 'Tonight, I Feel Close To You' is one of my favourites too, singing with Taiwan singer, Yan Zi. This song really shows off the girls beautiful voices. The 4th album honestly has all of Mai's best songs init which has impressed me a lot!!! I cant stop listening to her album now! very addicting!!! In Hong Kong and other asian countries apart from Japan, she is not as popular as Ayumi Hamasaki and Utada Hikaru, some people not even heard of her name, but I just wanna say that this pretty girl has alot of talent!! and people should take more notice in her and her songs!! Now I am just waiting for Detective Conan's 7th movie DVD to come out (me also a Conan Fan!!) 'Time After Time' and 'Kaze no la la la', best Conan songs yeh!!!!!! I will support Mai K forever same with Detective Conan!!!!! yeh!!!!! ^____^ |

Believe in her!
| After a continuous release of quality singles, Mai Kuraki finally released the much anticipated 4th album in this short span of time. Packed with hit singles like "Time After Time", "Make My Day", "Kiss" and "Kaze no Lalala", "If I Believe" looks promising with stellar tracks to please Mai fans. The 1st track is a soothing tune that catches on you after some time. The theater version of 'Time After Time" has a different intro from the original but the overall effect is very pleasing. Same goes with the album version of "Make my Day" which has a synthesized background and a faster arrangement compared to the original track. For the 5th track "mi corazon", Mai uses Spanish phrases in the song which is an interesting first attempt. However the last part of the song can be considered too repetitive. The 2 new non-single tracks, "Same" and "Just A Little Bit" are good additions to the album. "Same" has a catchy tune with the chorus becomin' urgent and fast paced. It's a good fast track. "Just A Little Bit" is also a moderate good track with nice backups. The last song on the album, "Tonight I Feel Close to You" is a duet with Stephanie Sun and its an all Englisg song. This track has a very nice tune and the pairing of the 2 voices has a very unique effect, rendering this song a very beautiful ballad. "If I Believe" has many good songs to please fans. The only complaint here may be the relative short length. However the quality of the tracks is high, so don't miss out on this album! |
