His previous duets with Cookies members Stephy and Theresa have all gained much popularity, and the latest song "Between Calmness and Passion" (Track 7) with both girls is expected to be just as hot. The title track "In Your Distant Vicinity" (Track 1), composed by famous musician Mark Lui with lyrics penned by the renowned Lin Xi, expresses one's confusion in a love triangle. Post listening

Now that i've received the album from yesasia, i would like to do a post listening review. Indeed, his first song, in your distance vicinity, is a well written song, with nice melody. I think alex fong singing has improved, now his music is filled with more emotions. there are still room for improvement though. Another song, "xian ku hou tian", it's a nice song delicated to parents in the world. i think it makes this album perfect with this added song. so many songs sang in the market are all about love, but this song is to appreciate the love parents gave, the hope they pinned on us... Lastly, i think all the songs are of it's own kind. I like it therefore giving it another full marks rating I do hope that alex could branch out to try new genes in the next album since he has already established himself as a K-King... |

I've only until recenly that i notice alex fong as a singer. I'm a singaporean and therefore only saw him on tv in "My Family". The moment i heard his song, "Zi Qi qi Ren"/ Self-deception and ABC guan, i'm really impressed that he could sing so well, full of emotions. Recently, heard his new album, ordered through YESAsia but yet to receive it, i think he had really improved a lot in his singing. This album is really well done, noticing the record company took the effort and name all the song title contridicting. i think he has a really good vocal and voice projection. I'm giving full star for this album then. keep it up. |
