Condition of Product
| The songs is excellent but the condition of the box set is NOT good. There were a few damages on the internal part. YesAsia should look into this matter to prevent such things from happening in the future |

We need a new complete vision!!
| I have bought this soundtrack CD but still wait for a complete vision including 3 theme songs. This is a excellent soundtrack CD but I consider the absence of songs is a major deficiency. I will buy it if the producer is willing to re-issue a complete vision. |

An excellent series...
|
I've loved the IA trilogy ever since I saw it in late 2003. In addition to having a really dark storyline, excllent cinematography and great acting, the score really stood out. The music vividly captures intrigue, suspense, brooding, despair and sadness....following the story of the films quite well... There are a few pieces that are a little "too close" in structure and use of instruments to Hans Zimmer compositions in Black Hawk Down but for the most part this stuff really shines. It really sets a tone and makes me think about the films and what they represent. And this set collects all 3 film scores in digipack packaging, with a nice box that matches the box the latest special edition set has been released in. Highly recommended. |

Good, but IA3 OST is Disappointing
|
The original IA OST is quite simply AMAZING, with lots of fast-paced, energetic tracks, as well as a few slower, more brooding ones, with the highlight being Track 2/12 with the beautiful melody and touching vocals that is usually played during death scenes in the film. However, not all cues from the film made it to CD. The IAII OST is not bad, with many memorable tracks, though more slow and sweeping than fast-paced. Highlight probably being Track 3. Unfortunately, I found the IAIII OST somewhat disappointing. I have yet to see the film, but it seems most of the tracks are either rehashes of IA's themes or rather dull and unexciting bits. It is possible after watching the film, my opinion my change, but currently, I cannot recommend the third CD. Overall however, this is a great buy. The phenomenal first 2 discs make up for the shortcomings of the 3rd. Packaging is nice, too. I would recommend it. |

Tsai Chin song version
|
Not bad for a trilogy soundtrack. Decent packaging though I would have prefered a three way opening digipack rather than a slip case. The Tsai Chin song on disc 3 is a very different sounding arrangement than the one heard in the movie, which I was hoping to get. The movie version opens with Tsai Chin's vocals then some light instrumentation. The version on CD3 opens with more instruments and sounds more 70s than "classical". Other than that it is a good compilation, although I have to agree that the theme songs should have all been included... |

good, but not complete!
| the most impressive thing out of this product would be the packaging design. the best i've seen since the "ashes of time". as for the music, like some other reviews, i am very disappointed that the theme songs are not included. also, the beautiful lady vocal played at the hi-fi store was missed, too. otherwise, this would be a perfect OST. |

Excellent, but redundant....
| Astonishing soundtrack for the Infernal Affairs trilogy. When Brad Pitt's film company decide to remake this movie, they should put some of the tracks on their version. My only problem with the soundtrack is the repetitiveness. Many of the tracks are just mixed and spit out. I was really disappointed with the Infernal Affairs 3 soundtrack. It was rather weak, but otherwise it's worth purchasing the trilogy. |
