YesAsia Editorial Description
A 17-year-old tofu delivery boy named Tak drives an "Eight-Six," a street term for the Toyota Trueno AE86. Tak leads a rather dull existence until he gets involved with the street-racing scene. Each of these 15 episodes in this popular Animé features real life autos in breathtaking races. The plot generally involves Tak, the gangs who compete against him, the types of cars they drive, and how the cars handle in different environments. A bit of romance fuels the drivers' passionate competition. In addition to stunning graphics (a mix of traditional animation and computer graphics), the series fleshes out small details, such as different driving techniques.

Its Initial D Need I say more?
| The next 3 episodes to the second stage series. Builds up the story line for the last 3 episodes. Quality is far better than what you get in VCD's. But realize this is a region encoded DVD as well as only having a Japanese soundtrack. No japanese subs no nada. (had to listen a few times to get it) But for all you Enthusiasts out there its one to own ( I just like perfect copies of stuff!) =) |
