Into The Sun DVD Box I (Japan Version)

YesAsia Editorial Description

In 2003, Kwon Sang Woo shot two dramas with SBS: one was Stairway to Heaven, and the other was Into the Sun. Portraying a naval officer, Kwon earned a lot of praise for his strong, likeable character and his handsome uniformed look. Like in Stairway to the Heaven, the actor gives a moving and memorable performance as a man singularly devoted to his love, played by Myung Se Bin (Wedding, Palace S). The drama also co-stars Jung Sung Hwan (Romance), Jung Tae Woo (Great Expectations), and Kim Jung Hwa (Money's Warfare, Snow White).

Upright, kind-hearted, and persistent to a fault, naval captain Kang Suk Min (Kwon Sang Woo) is dedicated to his duties and extremely protective of his sister Soo Jin (Kim Jung Hwa), whom he raised single-handedly. When Soo Jin gets appendicitis, he rushes her to the hospital and raises a ruckus to get his sister medical attention. That's how he meets and falls in love with doctor Jung Hye Rin (Myung Se Bin). Still mourning over her late fiance, Hye Rin is not interested in starting a new relationship, and initially feels rather put off by Suk Min's forwardness. As time passes, however, she slowly warms up to Suk Min, much to the frustration of doctor Lee Seung Ha (Jung Sung Hwan), who also likes Hye Rin. Trying to keep them apart, Seung Ha reveals to Hye Rin that Suk Min was actually involved in the accident that led to her fiance's death.

KSW smart as ever Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
KSW fans will all love him in this drama for sure because he looks so handsome in uniforms. The story is a little forceful and not all that convincing. If you are a fan, then you'll also tolerate the poor lighting but at least the ending is happy.

another good show.. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Something different to see KSW in a uniform and is a navy soldier no less makes him look even better here.Overall a nice short series about him who coincidentally fell in love with MSB whose fiance died in a car accident which indirectly connected to KSW and a brother who loves his sister so much as to protect and guard her.Funny scenes but also sad one too though you can expect here a happy ending at least.

kWON SANG WOO IS GREAT Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
This drama is actually a mixture of comedy and full drama. It was comedy maybe up to episode 3 and then it because a tearjerker as the story progress. Good story line. . . with a little mystery involved. Will really made you think about the killer.
