Great work! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This movie is really great. The way the different cameras are used is just - wow! It really has a unique atmosphere and an interesting, most of the time pretty impressing story! And even when you watch this movie more than just one time it still doesn't lose its amazing way to suck you into the story...
I can really recomment this movie to everyone! it's worth watching it - especially when you're interested in the way movies create their atmospheres!
An amazing piece of work!

Not bad, not bad Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
A very disconcerting love story. This film is full of surprises and the end is slightly disturbing.

could be better Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
for all you people out there if you want a scare-your-pants-off movie i don't think this is it. i do agree however that the film took place in a creepy place....i didn't like the ending and honestly it just wasn't scary enough and it had poor picture quality.

resident evil Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
St. John's wort is just like the other viewers who already gave half of the story away becase of it's own unique way of the screen film making. The whole story is like playing the classic video game "resident evil" or some of you may known as "biohazard". This is a pretty well done movie despite I wish the plot was more scary than it already is. The creepy atmosphere thru out the whole film was definitly a success. I would recomand to all you horror flicks. Oh, The ending was also entertaining.

I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
This movie isn't so good. The story is weak and it's not at all scary. Overall, it sucks.

Otogirisou Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This was actually pretty good. I was expecting a kind of ugly, bland low-budget looking movie but the usage of color especially was really pretty (I know "pretty" doesn't sound right but really I thought it was!), and the camera angles and effects added a nice touch as well. It's not a Hollywood-looking movie but it's still good. The atmosphere in the beginning is creepy and it does move back and forth like a video game with black & white static shots, etc. As the movie progresses and you see more of what's going on it's not as scary if you've seen a lot of horror movies, but I thought it was still really interesting up until the end. I liked it a lot and I would definately watch it again.

Production values and professionalism for St. John's Wort are similar to those of Blair Witch Project; SJW story is somewhat better.

videogame horror Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Fans of Playstation horror adventures like "Silent Hill" or "Alone in the Dark" will definitely enjoy this movie. The story unfolds like a videogame ( searching dark rooms in an old isolated mansion, finding secret keys, unlocking hidden doors...) There are even different endings for two lead characters ( ! ), a plot twist that is worth the price of the DVD alone. But that is not the end of the story - there is even another twist... but I won´t give it away... St.JOHN`S WORT ´s biggest plus is the eerie atmosphere, which will scare you for sure. Almost all of the film´s running time takes place in the aforementioned mansion, a rundown location very effectively used. The movie is also sick in places, most noteably when mummified children corpses are discovered and in the flashback scenes, where the killer remembers being abused by his father. This is indeed an inventive horrorfilm, deserving the largest possible audience. One last remark about the DVD: It is a shame that there are no extra features, not even the trailer! At least the print is widescreen and the optional subtitles are easily legible.
