兩人的思念呼出新的奇蹟

在很久以前(大約在犬夜叉被封印之前的200年前)，中國大陸妖怪(忽必烈汗)的飛妖蛾率領妖怪軍團攻打日本。當時由支配西國妖怪的犬夜叉的父親迎戰，經過一倫激戰，犬夜叉父親成功擊退了他們，同時用自己的牙將飛妖蛾他們封印；但是當戈薇回到過去將犬夜叉之封印解除時，不小心用箭將「四魂之玉」弄碎並且碎片分散至四方，其中有一塊碎片飛至飛妖蛾的妖怪被封印的地方，令飛妖蛾兒子瑪瑙丸甦醒並繼承父親的妖力，於是他便找犬夜叉報仇。目的不是奪取「四魂之玉」，而是要狙擊持有鐵碎牙的犬夜叉。
