Based on a true story, Invisible Man takes a deep realistic look at the importance of family ties through the life of an Alzheimer-stricken homicide cop named Choi Jang Soo. Yoo Oh Sung ( Champion) plays the leading role in his long-awaited return to the small screen. Chae Si Ra ( Terms of Endearment) plays a strong-headed housewife who must face the pain of accepting her ex's terminal illness. The drama ranked high in ratings with many of the male viewers relating to the character of Choi Jang Soo - a workaholic husband and father whose existence in his own family unit has over the course of time diminished to being merely "invisible". Invisible Man also received critical acclaim for raising social awareness about Alzheimer's disease and organ donation.

Born a posthumous child and raised by his grandmother, Choi Jang Soo's (Yoo Oh Sung) early years are marked by absence of love. When he meets his wife So Young (Chae Si Ra), he gives up everything for her, even his dream of becoming a judo professional and at her request, becomes a police officer. Soon his life is consumed with nothing but work, leaving no room for his family. Gradually, the family unit deteriorates and to Jang Soo's surprise, So Young asks for a divorce. When Jang Soo discovers that he is dying of Alzheimer's, he tries everything in his mighty power to make up for the lost time with his loved ones. But how much is he willing to give up this time around?
