Unappreciated High-brow Drama
| If you are looking for a conventional romantic drama, look elsewhere. These characters are the most complex and real of any K-drama I've seen. They are flawed, at times annoying and use f-words. I wasn't bored for a second, eventhough, there were times I felt it was a little too long. |

complete rubbish
| This is the second worst Korean drama I've seen, a lot to do with the weird Lee Na Young. She is annoying and totally mad. Kim Min Joon started off strange and mad too, but turned out to be the most sensible one. I bought this drama to see Hyun Bin. Good looking as he is, he is not so good in acting. The hairdresser responsible for this drama should be sacked. The last epistle is a complete waste of time. I would be very reluctant to see another thing with Lee Na Young in after this. The best one here though is Kim's stepfather who is such a sweet old man that I shed tears when he died. The love he had for his wife and stepson (in his own way) is very touching. However, I suggest you give this drama a miss. |

Good Series
|
I must admit that this series is one of a kind. I have not watch a series as disappointing as this one. Maybe because i am a go for good stories and less entanglements. If you are like me, dont watch this series. Butm kudos for the actors especially the lead actress, very convincing falling in love with a guy whi she thinks is her brother and her despite being married to Hyun Bin. I almost hated her. But otherwise, if you are for happy ending, suggest you skip this series. |

Exceptional spin on the conventional
|
It is rare to see a drama that has original characters with full faults intact instead of the conventional pretty boy meet girl and will they or won't they formula in most kdrama series. These are damaged humane characters who each have to over come their own demons, strive to move towards love and life, on a journey that is complex and intricate and fascinating. The scripted dialogue are some of the best and original, sympathetic but construed screen writing i have seen for, original and highly recommended. The only downside are the earlier Irish scenes, bad actors and silly cliches about the irish does let it down a bit. It is nice to see Kim Min Joon cast against type from his heroic character in DAMO as. Oh yes, he is still cute as hell. :P |
