Itchy Fingers (VCD) (Hong Kong Version) VCD

Hong Kong Cinema New Wave pioneer Leong Po Chih (Jumping Ash, Hong Kong 1941) directed the caper comedy Itchy Fingers in 1979 from a script co-written by Wong Jing, star Richard Ng, and himself. The film stars Ng as the burglar king opposite Roy Chiao as his lifelong nemesis, with support from Cora Miao, Fung Yun Chuen, Lo Hoi Pang, Melvin Wong, and John Woo in one of his pre-fame on-screen roles.

The rivalry between upright inspector Biggie (Roy Chiao) and wily thief Tiny (Richard Ng) has come a long way since their childhood. Tiny is hired by jeweler Fung to steal a precious diamond called "The Star of South Sea", not knowing that he's been set up - he is simply the scapegoat in Fung's insurance scam. Tiny is caught, but when Biggie learns that the insurance company offers a million dollars for anyone who can recover the "stolen" diamond, he convinces Tiny to team up with him and steal Fung's diamond again.

戇直探長阿大(喬宏飾)與神偷阿細(吳耀漢飾)天生死對頭，兒時已互相作對。阿細於一次打劫百貨公司時被捕入獄，出獄後大奸商馮仁笑(馮潤泉飾)想請他幫助，欲偷巨鑽「南海之星」，但遭拒絕。其實阿細另有打算，想獨吞珠寶。阿細到珠寶店藉故結識珠寶商之女天娜(繆騫人飾)，展開追求，並與天娜參加遊艇宴會而趁機與天娜調情，但一切都被阿大監視。阿細終說服天娜帶他到珠寶店參觀「南海之星」，但巨鑽及珠寶神秘失蹤，阿細因中圈套再次被捕。原來珠寶老闆就是馮，其利用天娜，嫁禍阿細以騙取失竊保險金。阿大得悉保險公司願出百萬元尋回「南海之星」，說服阿細合作偷回巨鑽。阿細終憑熟練手法偷得鑽石，馮亦在販賣珠寶時被捕。阿大破案揚威，阿細奪得天娜歸，兩人共享百萬獎金。

Biggie (Roy Chiao) and Tiny (Richard Ng) grow up together. They fight all the time. Biggie is a detective and Tiny is a thief. Biggie has the satisfaction of catching Tiny and putting him behind bars. When Tiny is released, he is approached by Daigau who wants Tiny's help to steal the world famous diamond. Tiny says no since he has decided to get the diamond all by himself. He befriends Tina, who is the daughter of the jeweler, to take him to the jewel shop to inspect it, but the diamond is disappeared and Tiny is suddenly finding himself the scapegoat. But Biggie convinces that it is the owner who pulls the job to cheat the insurance company. Tina later finds out she is not the jeweler's daughter. Biggie then makes proposal to Tiny to steal the diamond back and split the reward put up by the insurance company. The jeweler is caught while Biggie gets the credit and Tiny gets the million dollar reward. In addition, he gets Tina who has love with him.
