If you're a Sean Lau fan (I only came to know him through the film, "Driving Miss Wealthy," which I saw in 2004), then this is a must! If you like comedy that has some sense, but is a bit quirky, this is DEFINITELY for you. I was giggling and nodding along with this movie that is meant for an audience that likes slapstick humor done tastefully. Sean Lau clearly owns the screen in this film, and his co-star romance interest is very cute, but doesn't bring a lot of presence to the film for me. Still, the supporting cast (his ex-girlfriend Bing and his wife) and situations are ALL very entertaining! This movie might be geared at people who are out of their teens because much of the humor is about life following "settling down". Still, the romantic scenes are cute and the funny scenes are VERY chuckle-worthy. Towards the middle of the movie, I felt like it started to lose focus, though. STILL, by the end I was convinced I'd purchased a movie worth watching again and again--even if it was just to see Sean Lau act hilariously in widescreen, crystal clear, television-glory! (A note about the DVD itself: casing is standard and nice; no booklet; menu is hard to read with a small font on my 20"inch flatscreen TV; audio is 9/10 in sharpness) |

If you like Lau Ching Wan, then this is another enjoyable comedy about love, relationship and infertility. This is a movie where you can invite your friends over and have a laugh, easy to watch some great moments and relationship advice. Have fun !!! |

For the past year or so, Hong Kong has been releasing movies that are "mol liu"; stupid. The first impression I had for this movie was that I thought it will be another crappy movie, but then after watching it. The movie was quite interesting. The plot gives me a suspence and makes me want to find out how the movie will end. Give it a try and support the HK movie industry, which is DON'T PIRATE OFF THE INTERNET. :) The more money the HK movie industry makes the better movies it will produce. |

This is another piece of creative work. I think they have chosen the right person into this movie. For a thought of an Asian, the story has succesfully bring out its objetive, the meaning of it, which reflects the social life, or, you may say; the real life of today's modern life. It gives us a perception of something like "Hey, take it easy, man! Just enjoy yourselves, leave if you don't like it!". The world is impermanent. It's just whether you willing to take it or you are going to appreciate it as much as you can. Thus, it really teaches you a good lesson if you wanna take it as one. P/S: For those who are planning to get married, make sure you guys are ready! Appreciate life and those you love! |
