Highly recommended.
| I definatly recommend this to any fan of Takashi. It's a departure from his previous style thanks to collaboration with Charcoal Filter and there is a good mixture of rock, romance and instrumental tracks. The packaging is attractive and there are some lovely pictures of Taka included as well as a pull out lyrics sheet which comes in handy for karaoke. |

Itsudemo boku wa~
| When I first started to listen to this, I was thinking, "Oh, great, another slow single." But itsudemo boku wa is very different from hitorigoto. It's got more of a country style, while hitorigoto was more like a lullaby. The two really can't be compared, but they're both beautiful. Itsudemo boku wa has a beautiful tune, especially when you get to the chorus, although at some parts it sounds like he's struggling to sing so low. He has a very shaky voice. Then, track 2, "boku no koe" has a more upbeat tune. It's not very interesting until you get to the chorus, again. The best part is when his voice becomes "electrifying". And lastly, track 3 "arigatou" is another slower song. Overall, I can't decided between this and hitorigoto, because both have beautiful songs. But if you like more country style music, I think you would like this single more. ^^ |
