지난 해, 온 세상을 ‘좋은 날’로 물들였던 아이유가 드디어 새 앨범을 들고 팬들 곁으로 돌아온다. 아이유의 새 앨범 [Last Fantasy]는 1집 [Growing up] 이후 2년 만에 선보이는 정규앨범으로, 이번 앨범은 지난 해 ‘아이유 신드롬’을 탄생시켰던 조영철 프로듀서가 총괄 프로듀싱을 맡았다. 조영철 프로듀서는 이번 앨범을 통해 아이유가 가지고 있는 음악성을 좀 더 다양한 측면으로 접근하여 표현해내는 것에 중점을 두었다.
새 앨범 [Last Fantasy]의 앨범 타이틀 뜻은 10대의 마지막 순간에서 20대의 시작을 바라보고 있는 아이유가 마음속에 품고 있는 생각, 상상, 환상 등을 앨범 속에 그려냈다는 의미를 가지고 있으며, 음악팬들이 아이유에게 바라는 다양한 모습들을 노래를 통해 다채롭게 담았다는 의미를 담고 있다.
총 13곡이 수록되어 있는 이번 정규 2집은 국내 최고의 뮤지션들과 작곡가들이 참여해 이목을 집중시킨다. 김광진, 윤상, 정재형, 이적, 김형석, 정석원, 김현철, 윤종신, 이민수, 코린 베일리 래, G.고릴라, Ra.D 등 더 이상 설명이 필요 없는 음악인들이 모두 이번 아이유의 정규 앨범에 선뜻 참여했다.
정규 2집의 타이틀곡인 ‘너랑 나’는 ‘좋은 날’을 탄생시켰던 이민수 작곡가-김이나 작사가의 합작품으로, 아이유의 다채로운 감성과 업그레이드된 음악성을 전한다. ‘너랑 나’는 아이유의 보컬이 가지고 있는 매력을 다시 한번 선보이는 곡으로, 10대 소녀가 시간 여행을 떠나 먼 미래를 만나고 온다는 신비롭고 기묘한 컨셉을 가지고 있다. 마이너와 메이저 코드를 넘나드는 구성으로 하프, 호른 등 가요에서 거의 찾아보기 힘든 악기를 사용한 리얼 사운드의 버라이어티하고 판타지스러운 느낌을 전하는 편곡이 돋보이며, 아이유의 다양해진 보컬 표현력을 만나볼 수 있다.

I just receive my copy yesterday! I guess i was a little to LATE i miss out on the Limited Edition! T___T. But it's okay i still have this one! and i am SUPER HAPPY!. The whole album is so unique!..It's not an ordinary album opening. Her pictures are really DOLL like she is super cute!..I love almost of the tracks!. I can't really choose which one i like because it's hard :P. IU is one of my favorite solo artist i will always keep supporting her! She is always AMAZING! and i am always BLOWN away for her music! IU FIGHTING. (:

this was one the best alblums i ever bought :)
the case was really different and really cute . i bought the poster with it , but i havent got it yet .
the songs are really cute and cacthy <3
i really reconmend this cd to any iu fans :D
when you frist get it ,
the top part folds back , and then theres another layer . it fold downwards :D
then theres the cd and under it theres a booklet with pictures of iu and korean lyrics :D
even if you cant read korean , the pictures are really cute ! :D

 Love IU. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
As always, I love IU not only because she's extremely cute but she's the real deal. I mean, her vocals are improving with every following album! She's making tremendous progress. I'd give a 10/10 for just Last Fantasy alone.

However, this is a review for the Special Limited Edition version. Don't get me wrong, the additional photobook's worth the extra cash but receiving a damaged box is just a nono for me. Therefore giving it a 8/10. I'm not gonna bother returning it because it would take too much time plus it's stated above that it's already out of print. So I'll just hope that the manufacturers do a better job at packaging in the future.

The case is much bigger than I expected. The case was pretty huge, but it was cute. It contained very cute images with IU, and I just adore her songs. Buying the CD was very much worth it. IU's music can pretty much cheer up anyone.
