warning... Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
The karaoke function is available as a 3rd disc, the actual singing voice is only on disc 1 and 2 and does not allow for karaoke. The 3rd disc has no voice, just music.

Jacky Cheung is the master of chinese pop music Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
As I missed seeing Jacky live when he was in Melbourne Australia, this DVD was the next best thing. This concert DVD is one of the best I have ever watched. Firstly the quality of the sound and video is excellent, with many audio options available. Jacky's performance in the concert was perfect as usual. His voice was as strong right from the start of the concert to the very last song. That can't be said for a lot of other chinese singers. Jacky's concerts are based on quality and not gimmicks such as inviting many guest artists or using many many costume changes and elaborate sets. Jacky performs some of my favourite classic songs of his such as "Always Part on Rainy Days", "Want to Join The Breeze With You" and "Your name with my surname" with such emotion that you can really feel like your part of the audience listening to him live. I also enjoyed the few fast songs that Jacky sings, especially "Messy hair" and the english songs where Jacky demonstrates that the hours he spent learning to improve his dancing has clearly paid off. My favourite song of the whole concert is "Li Xiang Lan". It is so dreamy and mellow and just makes you feel like you are floating on a cloud. Finally, the karaoke DVD is an excellent bonus, with my only small complaint being that the disc only had surround 2.0 rather than surround 5.0, which lessened the quality of the audio a little. Apart from that, this DVD is a must get for all lovers of music, especially fans of great chinese music.

Waiting for a long time Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The best concert, must buy,but little bit problem is when he sing the song 'just want to follow you forever' at the end when he turn back and walk at the stage, the screen pause for a while then continue with another angle which he is already face back the audiences.Maybe this is the disc problem or normally the screenshot is like that, but i enjoy the collections and won't regret to having it.

Good but not perfect Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I have Jacky Cheung every concerts on VCD/DVD and this is the one that I'd say really worth the money. There are a lot of songs in this one but unfortunately, like all other concerts it suffers one major problem...a lot of his same songs were sung repeatedly in this & every concerts. I was hoping to hear more older songs (before 1988) but only a few were selected. The set was beautiful and so were Jacky's clothings. The karaoke version was seperately recorded on disk 3 which I thought is unusual. It would have been better if they were not seperated. And as mush as I like Jacky, I have to say his voice was slightly degraded and changed due to his age. I would still recommend it to anyone.

Oh! la! la! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I was kept waiting more than a month, huh. But this live video's quality is terrific.

Jacky's soulful voice & motion, a chorus, the band, of which every part is awesome, lighting, and dancing are marvelously integrated and in the hottest groove. Watching his steps, I'm excited thinking of being there and dance with. I oftenly dance in the kitchen or hall way imitating their motion. First of all I wish I was one of audiences there.

In '99 live video he sounded like a mischievous but harmless young boy with smooth cheek, hair colored purple and slender figure, who was moving around all over the stage with his arms spread, raised bothe hands in the air, strumming a guitar and singing at his soul's will with a joyful smile.

After a few years he shows himself as a well grown-up man, gorgeously dressed to kill, having even tenderness with a beard. No one might not say he will never get old.

Only one tune, he played guitar and whistling for us. His motions while talking or singing, way of doing steps, twisting body, supporting female dancer and his voice & expression, all of them makes my heart beat fast. It also makes me feel like wanting to dash up the stage and cling to him.

Now I finally got this newest DVD. Every time watching this one, I have a sigh and kind of feel lonely. Simply the best one I still love so much is '99 live DVD though :-)

very disappointed Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The concert is very good, but the way they make the dvd is very disappoint because you can't heard the voice of Jacky in the karaoke disc. I mean you can't turn his voice on and off, it only stays off

Wow!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I just finished watching Leslie Cheung's '97, Sally Yip, and Alan Tam & Hacken Lee concerts and then Jackie's. There was no comparison. I was blown away. Jackie did an EXCELLENT job, way better then the 3 I just mentioned. His voice has only gotten better over the years and he put on one heck of a performance. Even my 3 year old daughter who doesn't speak any Chinese thoroughly enjoyed it. A DEFINITE BUY.
