    October 13, 2005 Beautiful. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Beautiful. What else is there to say? "Koe" showed me that there could be another Japanese singer that could give Utada Hikaru a run for her money as far as talent, and that person is Tsukiko Amano. If you don't have this, get it. You will DEFINITELY not be disappointed.

October 13, 2005 For those of you who hate this album. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
No, it is not Utada Hikaru's best, HOWEVER that does not mean it's bad. This album shows that she was experimenting, going further than any pop artist on American radio and further than most Japanese pop acts, too. She tried alot of different things, and yes, some of it is questionable, but it's the fact that she was willing to try it that I love. Then there's the lyrics. Some of them were a bit bland, I'll admit, but then there were some that were very clever and well done like "Animato" and "Kremlin Dusk", which is definitely, without a doubt, the best song on the album, and honestly one of the best she's ever done. But anyway, the album is more than worth a listen if you have an open mind. Underneath this that is Utada's experiment is still the Utada we all love.

October 13, 2005 Pretty good. Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I must say, Vulgar is a pretty good effort from Dir en grey, though it is not their best. That title goes to Kisou, in my opinion. But still, Vulgar is a solid album. The opening track, "audience KILLER LOOP" is an excellent opener, preparing you for the crazy tracks ahead. Track 5, "Sajou no Uta" is a break from the harder tracks, which is nice. Track 6, "Red...[em]" is one of my personal Dir en grey favorites, particularly because of Shinya's drum work which seems to go along on its own in the song, but still flows with what the rest of the band is doing. "Kasumi", track 9, is an utterly amazing song... you just have to hear it, I won't explain. Track 11, "Drain Away" is another good Shinya track. Number 13, "Obscure" is a viscious, hard-hitting track, and the video is no different, haha. Lastly in my list is "Amber", a perfect album ender. It's the perfect balance between hard songs like "Obscure" and softer ones like "Sajou no Uta". All in all, the album is not without its share of flaws, but it is a good follow up to Kisou, and provides a number of tracks that remind us Dir en grey fans why we like them so much.

    October 13, 2005 It's alright... Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
It's not that bad... but not that good either, haha. There are a few bad apples on this album, but tracks like "The Final", "Dead Tree", "Machiavellism", and "Kodou" (my personal favorite) save it. If you're new to Dir en grey and thinking about picking this album up, by all means, go for it... but get Kisou along with it, haha.

    October 13, 2005 Amazing. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Kisou is hands down the best Dir en grey album. If you're a fan and you don't have this, you're doing yourself a terrible injustice. No two songs are the same. In fact, every song shows a different side of the band and a different style. There's enough on this album to keep any Dir en grey fan satisfied... it could satisfy someone who doesn't like them. It's hard to say what's the best song on the album because they're all good in their own ways, but "Mushi" is the one song that I'm really into right now. Other outstanding tracks include "Jessica", "embryo", "Undecided", and "24 Cylinders".

    October 13, 2005 What... Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
Ok, the only reason I gave Clever Sleazoid something is because it's Dir en grey, I have to give them some points. But come on, to say that this is good... I mean, you've got to be on something. They don't show half of their skills. The lyrics - while good for some American bands - are crap. If you've been listening to Dir en grey since before Clever Sleazoid, you know Kyo's lyrics are RARELY (if ever) this bad. Really the only good things about this single are the live tracks, and even those aren't that great. I guess I'm saying that because of their performance of Dead Tree, which was disappointing. C and Garbage were decently done. But anyway, seriously, Clever Sleazoid is a big disappointment. I can only hope that their next single(s) and album will be better.
