2007年12月26日 PointlessMy first reaction to this "Limited Edition" was literally "WOW, no way..." Firstly, I'm absolute sure that fans of Twins would already have the albums included in this edition. Perhaps, those who might not be fans of Twins would probably still have 1 or 2, if not all, of Twins' album(s). They definitely will not purchased this edition and besides, why would they want to spend double the amount buying the same album again.
I think it's just a waste of material. Two MVs per DVD? Although each is cut in a different shape. Do you really want to take the time changing DVDs every 10 or so minutes? That is, assuming if you only have a single DVD player. Practically, I would say it's a much better idea to release a DVD edition of ALL released and unreleased MVs into ONE DVD, including all NG shots and scenes. I'd rather make this a collectible rather than the actually product. Nowadays, HK's music industry is mainly focusing on its packaging and imaging, not much about its music. Very disappointing!!! **sigh**

It's been a while since Shine's last album. Thought they would give us a surprise, however, I find this album not any better than their previous albums. Songs are very typical and there are off keys. Shine should improve on their singing techniques, especially when they are competing against so many new and talented artists in Hong Kong now.

2006年9月4日 NO PLOT AT ALL
The worst canto movie of the year. It was totally a waste of my time seeing this movie, even though I've only just spent around half an hour watching this movie. It has no theme, no plot and their "jokes" were hard to laugh at. Fiona gave it a shot to a movie in which most of us were highly expecting (due to the successful Love Undercover 1 & 2 with Miriam Yeung), however, it is just not what we are expecting. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Leo has lived up to my expectation again. The creativity of the song names is another success becuase I was desparate to know the characteristics of each song named after the most unforgettable songs from long loved artists. Each track has its own little personality while track #5 has the most resemblance from Faye Wong's song. His singing is always good and this is the time for this shining star to lead us back into what we really call "Music".

2005年9月26日 it's too much MV style, not suitable
With a high expectation to begin from, what I ended up getting is a plotless story. The director could've incorporated all these award winning actors and actresses in a better way. To me, it's more like using these high profile actors in exchange for audiences rather than having an attractive story line. I still had no clear idea what the point of the movie was. Absolutely no plot in the movie. Although this movie is more like an MTV then a real movie...have you ever watched a movie having your heads tilted 90 degrees? if you want to try, watch it, if not, don't waste the time.

2005年8月10日 re: Emotionally PlainThis solo debut album is, in fact, a good beginning for Stephy's musical career. She has also written lyrics for several songs, which shows her other talent. However, her emotional techniques are a bit too plain. In my opinion, a good song is a combination of not just good lyrics, good melody, good composition and a good singer, but also a singer with good management of his/her emotional techniques as well, not reading lyrics, but to sing and understand lyrics. I give a 7 because of her talent as a lyricist.

2002年2月13日 Lam Fung singing? Good or Bad?
This is a pretty interesting story with a very unique ending. You'll see why once you've seen the movie. We shall have no doubt about Lam Fung's acting as we've seen his success in the TVB series "Chum Chun Gei" The way how Rain's acting got better thru her eye expressions. However, she acts as if she was reading directly from her script in particular scenes. There are two theme songs, one sung by Lam Fung (he can really sing, and I believe that he has the potential in the singing career), the second theme song is sung by Rain (I can see that she has improved in her singing skills and techniques)What I can give is a thumbs up. Overall, it's a nice movie...Don't hesistate buying it. This movie's cover is pretty attractive, isn't it? =0)

2002年2月11日 A 7 minutes medley + 15 minutes VCDTheir 3rd EP in no more than 8 months. It's amazing, isn't it? It's really hard to judge their singing techniques/improvements within this short period of time, but one thing I can say is that Charlene does sing better than Gillian. Charlene has a stronger/thicker voice and it covers over Gillian's voice when they sing together. The song variations in this EP is pretty teen-feel. Not just the music itself, but as well as lyrics. We cannot find similar lyrics on other artists nowadays except TWINS. Track 2 is very similar to their previous hit song "Luen Oi Dai Guor Tin"(I personally like "Luen Oi Dai Guor Tin" better =0)) Track 5 "Twins 668" is a 7min. medley which is a good idea for the coming Chinese new year. The enclosed VCD is about 15 minutes long, so it's worth watching. TWINS will definitely attract adolescents between ages 11-19. But just don't understand why EEG is releasing a 2nd version with pretty much the same stuff.

2002年2月11日 Passionate Sense = Latin DanceThe way how it's filmed is pretty elegant. Regarding film production, I think it has given the viewer a passionate sense toward Latin dances. All the scenes were taken in actual buildings and the places chosen were pretty splendid and grand, especially at the end of the movie when Andy and Anita entered the ballroom. We can see that every actor worked very hard on each articulate movements when they danced. You would also see the feminine side of Sandra Ng, which is a very unforgettable scene that you'll not want to miss. One last thing that I want to point out is the following: Andy and Sandra ended up as lovers at the end, but their love was not too convincing to viewers like me due to the lack of expressing their feelings to each other. You will understand what I mean when you see the movie. Endlessly, a good recommendation to readers like you. =0) (P.S. you can also find this review on the DVD list)

2002年2月10日 Is it really that funny?
A funny movie is successful not only by the brief and attractive short paragraph written on the back of the VCD, but to bring out the true meaning of the movie. The story line caught my attention at first because I thought it would be a funny movie with a well planned out and convincing plot. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. Honestly, there were parts that are funny but I wouldn't recommend this movie to others because it's just a waste of time~! In one particular scene of the movie, Dayo was violating Anita's privacy when he was left alone in Anita's house. I'm not sure if it's really the way how people are, but at least it's a bad signal. It not only violates people's lives, but it is definitely degrading people's personality.

2002年1月20日 An amazing concert for an 21 year old artistThis is something that you wouldn't want to miss watching. It's amazing what Joey has brought to us after only 2 years in her singing career. A 21 year old female artist hosting a 4-sided concert is not easy. Especially when 12,000 audiences were listening and watching your performances. Despite her cracked voice, she has done a wonderful performance. Her concert has shown the Joey in reality that we don't usually hear or read about from the medium. Did you know that Joey is a person who has low self-esteem? Who is she before her singing career? These are the things you'll learn about in her concert. Perhaps, you will hear some "off-key" areas, but again, it's something that you cannot affort to miss. Recommended songs: Disc 1: 5, 14-19 Disc 2: 6-7, 9-10

2001年11月27日 ichiban~!We see Cass Phang as a petite and without doubt, she is a feminize artist. She never loses her sense of individuality in her career paths. Cass has released numerous albums in the past, but none of them were as great as her newest album "My...". The choice of various musical accompaniment and lyrics are just great and meaningful. Especially with the help of well known composers and lyricists such as Mark Lui, 伍樂城﹐ 黃丹儀﹐ C.Y.Kong, Wyman, and 林夕, etc. The reason why I like this album is because of its music arrangments and its various musical styles such as Ballads, Pop, easy listening, etc. Most are well defined works and not just plain musical background (such as plain piano or guitar) Cass's album image is another thing that is worth mentioning. Make note of how her dresses are designed. Transforming the ideas of tie & shirts and Jeans into a unique dress. Recommendations are tracks: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9.

Nicholas, with no doubt, is one of the composers from the younger generation. Two of the songs in this album are originally from his previous cantonese album. However, it's clear that he has put in efforts and his enthusiastic spirit into his love of music. Participating in the managing process and most of all, I praise his composing talents. However, track 2 "Enough?"(which is chosen to be the hit song in the album)is something that Nicholas should work on with regard to his singing techniques. While I listen to this song, I was shocked when I noticed some "off-key" words that he was singing. Especially the part when the climax builds up. It would have been a good album if this strategic problems didn't appearred. For those who have this album, it wouldn't hurt trying to catch what I just mentioned. See if you can hear it.

Victor's songs are as simple as adding 1 + 1. I don't know if that's because he's NEW or if it's because HK music products are going down-hill. This album is no different than Alex Fong Lik Sun's newest album, quality of songs are just average! That's why HK albums nowadays care so much of their packaging and the little gifts (ex: a 54 page photo album) enclosed within. From my perspective, the HK music industry is not as professional as before. New people coming out to become singers no matter what. A good/attractive face will do for everything or even their background will bring them up to the top of the hill. So what I wanna say is that they (new singers) have to improve in their singing techniques if they wanna promote the HK music industry up to a higher level.

2001年7月9日 Good Diet, Good Movie~!
I have to say that this is one of the most extraordinary movie within the HK movie industry. Hiring make-up professionals from the US, which has shown HK's seriousness and has put in respect into the movie itself. But one thing that I want to point out is that this "Making-Of" is just too short, i'm sure many people'd love to see more than just this 30 min. VCD. And too bad they didn't put in the preview of this movie. Overall, it's a must see movie and I can't wait for it to come out~!

This is the most tragic but beloved story I've ever seen this year. Just because it's based on a true story, we learn how people can be so brave enough to live through hopelessness and be able to find hope in the meantime. This movie is a must see of the year. A true splendid piece about between death and hope.

The stories in Perfect Match and Blue Moon are clearly distinguished between happiness and sadness, respectively. Blue Moon captures all the tensions and emotions that Perfect Match didn't have! And I think Blue Moon is a very satisfied work of the year and the dramatic stories are deeply stored in our memories.
