Jaurim is the real deal
This album served as my introduction to the music of Jaurim and I didn't quite know what to make of it during my first couple listens. The band's sound seemed to be all over the map. Now after hearing this album many times, I can't say that I've found a musical theme that ties it all together, but I've come to appreciate the band's tremendous versatility and its dedication to their craft. The group's playing is tight throughout, generating hard-rocking songs that range from old-school bluesy rock to grunge. And the swaggering, brassy vocals of singer Kim Yoon Ah are remarkable; she definitely is a legit rock star. By the way, don't miss the bonus track buried at the end of this disk. Jaurim has won me over. I'm eager to sample some of their other work. |

Cool
A foreign exchange student from Korea (who is now my good friend) introduced me to Jaurim a while ago. I heard this CD then and I really liked it! I highly recommend it to people looking for something different than the usual K-pop sound. |

Korea's Best
Once again the band that does not get enough love in Korea proves how talented they are. While Korean pop is dominated with carbon-copy new faces who are never heard from again after their 15 minutes of fame, Jaurim stands far above the ordinary. The music on 4 is often dark and moody while balanced with the lovely sounds of hearing how our front-lady "loves herself" and is her own fan. This band is under appreciated in Korea and I hope they live on always. |

outstanding
The album is simply excellent. I don't think there is any other band like this from Korea. The talent of the individual band members combines to produce some amazing songs. Plus, the lead singer (Yuna Kim) is totally amazing. Her voice is just fantastic. Moreover, she can sing in English with no accent. I thought that is pretty great for a native Korean singer. You've got to check out this CD. |

One of the Best K-Rock Bands
Since I heard their music at first in 1997, I have been Jaurim's fan. The female vocalist Kim Yuna's charismatic voice and stage-manner is very famous. Her solo project album is also recommendable especially in Winter. And Jaurim True Live album having two CDs is good for beginers because the album actually include most good songs from their previous albums in a live music sounds. |

BACK WITH A BANG~
This is jaurim...THE band of korea. I first heard them at glay's concert (glay is a japanese pop/rock band) glay had invited them to their concert..and lets just say it was the perfect and best choice. Who else to represent korean rock but jaurim. The female lead vocalist has amazing vocals...that should hush up all other female rock asian vocalists (e.g. puffy of japan). Anyways..I personally don't know korean and i'm not even korean...but this band really is good. if you want good rock music and female vocals...this is the band for you. JUST BUY IT! |

The "Shakira" or "Alanis Morisette" of Korea
Jaurim is a distinctively different band formed in Korea which is actively enrolled in "Krock" or the next generation of Korean Rock Bands. Similar to Jrock, Krock's best bands, "JAURIM" shines through with superbly created songs and the woman singer similar to the voice of Alanis Morisette. The CD's packaging is in a cardboard box instead of the traditional and rather bland jewel case. Her smooth, high-reaching and "twistable" unique voice sets her apart from other korean artists. Genre: ROCK |
