故事講述一對姐弟暑假回家路上，經過一小鎮無意中發現一隻嗜血的魔鬼，專門四出尋找美味器官，吞噬後再收為己用，魔鬼手段兇殘成性，毒辣創新，總殺人一個措手不及，每每叫人防不勝防，冷汗直流，心臟俱裂。好奇的弟弟遂展開追蹤，怎知卻在古舊教堂地牢發現魔鬼的巢穴，並發現逾數百具被魔鬼吞噬部分器官後，剩餘的屍體渣，此舉就引來魔鬼的反擊，兩姐弟惟有四處逃亡，頓時令到小鎮屍橫遍野，風聲鶴淚，人心惶惶魔鬼連番用殘暴手段殺害多個協助兩姐弟逃亡的民眾；計有警察被活活劈下頭顱，並且抽去其�c根，守衛被魔爪一揮，挖去心臟，囚犯被利齒一咬，整條右腳就此報銷。到了走到無路之時，兩姐弟卻發現原來所有秘密就在一個關鍵數字上……「23」。
Trish (Gina Philips) and her younger brother Darry (Justin Long) are passing the hours on their long drive home for spring break as they always do – bickering, insulting each other and enjoying every minute of it. As they tool down the seemingly endless country road, they spot an ancient, creepy-looking van approaching in the rear-view mirror. The van suddenly accelerates, practically running them off the highway, its weird horn wailing.
As they drive on, Trish and Darry approach an old church. The van is there. Despite Trish’s protests, Darry plummets down into a dark room. Desperate for a way out, Darry sees a doorway, over which is a sign, seemingly created from human bones. With no other choice, he proceeds through, only to discover a scene worthy of Dante’s Inferno – countless mutilated bodies, stitched into the wall in some kind of horrifically gruesome tapestry......

got lost in between....

The first half of the film was really good because it has that "killer out on a murdering spree" feel that has been lost through all those special effects we have nowadays on modern films. It really felt like a good film but all of a sudden it turns into a monster film, and it made the viewers go "what the?!?!?!". I thought i was watching some killer on the loose flick but instead i get a monster film and the monster looks really dumb too, how i wish they just stuck with the "killer" story. But the ending was pretty good too eventhough it felt abrupt, a surprise ending. For those who love being surprise at the end of a film it is still worth it, just ignore the latter half... |

Good start, bad ending

This is not really a Horror movie, especially not one of the best (what experts said) The begin of this movie is quite exciting, but the 2nd half it's a bit boring. |
