The ballads on this album are very emotive and beautiful. A-Mei's delivery is still powerful but it has also become a little subdued, a bit delicate this time around. I believe it is an indication of maturity in her style and voice. I don't think there is any style that she cannot do; her voice is suited for everything. I was even impressed with the uptempo songs. "Summer Wave" was a definite stand out. But my favorites are the ballads: "Who Loves Me" / "Have You Heard Lately?" / "Soul Mate", etc.

April 25, 2006 Intimate Setting...This mini-concert DVD took me by surprise. I intially thought that it would be a collection of her Music Videos for this new album, but instead, it was a promotional concert. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed seeing A-Mei in an intimate setting, without all the distractions of backup dancers and singers, because she shines all on her own. She is capable of holding the attention of the audience purely through her singing and warm-hearted charm. Not that seeing her in a major venue is not fun, because it is a blast and one of the best experiences you could ever have as an A-Mei fan, but, it was good to see glimpses of the A-Mei we all fell in love with from the beginning... showing her vulnerable side, and not being afraid to shed a few tears... it brought back the memories of her immaculate performances from her 1999 concert~!! All of her work is amazing, I think she is incredible. Though I was not too pleased with the previous two albums, this has made up for any shortcomings over the past few years.
A-Mei is back in her full glory and to sum it up... she is truly better than ever.

February 2, 2006 EtherealI already heard the first two songs, and it sounds so beautiful. This is album has been two years in the making, and as an avid fan like myself, I feel as though I've been waiting a lifetime for it. I'm so happy it's finally here~!! You know I pre-ordered it... can't wait for a concert or vcd version. A-Mei is the greatest, always.
