Americans do dont know any better but the movie did got its recognition at Hong Kong's Movie Award Night. Compare to alot of the Chinese's Kung Fu movie, Crouching Tiger doesnt have the Most Brilliant fight sequence *Cough Iron Monkey*. However this movie is one of the best. And lets not forget that many Kung Fu movies have crappy-ass plot, and without a doubt the plot of this movie is the BEST. The plot keeps you in suspense throughout the whole movie. Couching Tiger is perfect, except that they should make the movie longer so more time can allow the personalties of the characters to develop some more :D

Life Is A Miracle (VCD) (Hong Kong Version)
July 19, 2001 Meh...Frist of all the casting of the movie is kinda lame. Second its boring, i mean nothing cool and important happened in this movie. Third i dont think this movie has any real true love or whatever cuz all there is is 'your going to die, im going to stay with you until you do'. And finally dont drag God into the movie, death is not that complicated. Death is just returns to nothing like in the beginnin, and that is all.

May 21, 2001 One Of The Best Movie Ever!!!!
Get the movie now!!! This movie is definitely one of the best movie of all time!!! This movie combines mystery, asian horror, and love story all into one movie. These elements bond so well that you cant tell what kinda movie it really is, there is absolutely no gap or any diversity between the elements. What I really like about this movie is that it keeps you in suspense and creates a mood that force you to feel like you are in that movie. The most brilliance part of the movie is near the end, when the writer of the movie use the identity of the twin to play tricks with your mind. The climax explains pretty much the whole movie but yet also make you confuse abut what just happened. I tried to organize the plot but just got more confuse at the end. Trust me!!! Dont try it out!!! At the end you just cant tell Who is Who, What is What, Where is Where, When is When, and Why is Why.....

A Fighter's Blues
May 21, 2001 Like Always, You Roxors, Andy!!!I love this movie because simply Andy is a good actor and a singer and hehe...Takako is great. Andy and Takako did a beautiful job at acting out their roles and the plot of the movie is excellent. Well there are certain things in the movie that can be improved, mainly the audio, but they are all the producer's fault. OK first off the dubbing of the movie is kinda chunky. I thought it was caused by the VCD because we all know that the VCD quality arent the best, so I tried DVD thinking that with something digital I cant lose. Secondly the fighting scenes are cool, but could be better if cool sound effects were added. If you saw the movie Fight Club, you'll know what I'm taking about. At last why did they dubbed Takako's voice, her voice is so sweet and sexy just think about the Beautiful Life and Moonlight Express.

May 21, 2001 Cant Get Any Better Than This!!
Hehe...this movie is excellent. The producer did a really good job at combining the slang Cantonese and the traditional Chinese way of speech together in the movie, bring the dialogue into a new level of humor. Lets not forget the casting of this movie is absolutely clever. Using only actresses, Sammi, Celcilia, and Anita, as the main character of the movie, the movie is able to attract all kinda audience. Celcilia gave a great performence as the male form of the fox fairy (actually its kinda sexy). And you cant say Sammi did a terrible job in acting out her role, like always Sammi will never let her fans down :D

For those who wanted subtitle because no english is making the movie boring and i cant freaking read, well go watch some God Lizard (old school japanese godzilla). Also oh yeah and like Hollywood can do a better job with the fighting and the flying scene !!! Yeah I know people cant just flying unless they are Mel Gibson or Sylvester Stallone. Morons!!! This is a fantasy movie. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is definitely qualify for the 4 Oscars including best cinematography, best original score, best art direction, and best foreign film. Once again what are you people smoking!?!? This movie didnt overachieved, it won 4 Oscars simply because this is a good movie. The movie is full of excitements and it really intense. not only does this movie has cool kung fu fighting sequence, like all other great movies the love story included is beautiful. I almost cry at the end *sniff*. And you cant deny and superior ability as a director and the brilliance of Ang Lee. Overall this is one of the best movie ever!!! Finally I must warn, drugs are bad for you :D
