The loveable Mao Bo from Cape No. 7 takes a more serious role as the star of this heartwarming made-for-TV movie. Filmed on location at train stations around Taiwan, Ji De Wo Men Ai Guo tells the story of Huo Bo, a retired train station master who neglects his family for the sake of his job. When he is diagnosed with cancer, Fo Bo decides to take his wife (singer Lin Mei Chau) on an island-round trip by railway to see three old friends and revisit the place where they first met. Along the way, the constantly feuding couple learns to put aside their differences and remember why they fell in love with each other in the first place. The film also features Tender Huang (Anna and Anna) and Fu Xiao Yun (Devil Beside You) as the young Huo Bo and his wife.

一位鐵路局退休的火車站長—火伯 (茂伯 飾)儘管退休了仍然天天到車站去。與妻子—火嫂 (林美照 飾)結婚了數十年，即使兩個孩子都不在身旁，也有著平平淡淡的安穩生活。

某日，火伯要到車站的途中，突然昏到在地。在醫生檢查之下，火伯得知自己得了胃癌，恐怕活不過三個月。面對了這樣人生的大轉變，看著每天到醫院陪伴的「牽手」，火伯的心中更是有著萬分的歉意。

於是他計劃了一趟兩人的火車環島之旅，除了回味兩人當年那段由火車站開始的愛情之外，其實火伯還希望可以拜訪三位老朋友。

然而什麼都不知情的火嫂，以及數年後拜訪的老朋友，都讓旅途有著許多未知數。

隨著火伯與火嫂的旅程，我們除了一同感受夫妻間的情感之外，還帶領著大家進入了集集支線，東豐自行車綠廊，菁桐車站，十分車站等地點，首部由台灣鐵路發展的故事情節，讓我們也一同體會台灣鐵道之美。
